Wow Nick Powell is definitely an exciting up and coming talent.

Can also see a leap in improvement in him from his League 2 days to the current Wigan side.

Can anyone confirm that could we qualify to the knockout stages as early as Tomorrow?

I've done my calculation and it seems there's a possibility, but I need confirmation

Sir Alex biography states that Powell is the dead cert for the England team.

conspirators will say the reason why he got no luggage is because he already has a house in Spain and will be moving to either Barca or Madrid next summer transfer window :s22:

oh.. one more thing.. maybe our "midfield woes" can be solved by someone already on our books.. nick powell anyone? he seems to be doing very well at wigan

Nick Powell plays best as a no.10, so does morrison, in fact even Januzaj is a natural no.10. I think SAF was getting ready for a permanent 5 man midfield style. Who knew DM will come in and make Rooney his darling. Now all must adjust to different positions. Well, not morrison of cos.

PS: if Rooney plays today, DM must have promised to play Rooney as long as he is fit, there is no way it's sensible to play a player for so many games without resting, esp when u have a big Arsenal match coming. Looks like Rooney will become the first Utd player to be bigger then the club.

Manchester United are ready to sell Wilfried Zaha in January.

Zaha is yet to make his Premier League debut for United, despite his £15 million arrival from Crystal Palace.

The Sun says United are ready to offer Zaha and £7million to bag Everton star Leighton Baines in January.

Everton rate the England fullback at £15 million.

Shinji Kagawa is ready to leave Manchester United.

The People says the Japanese midfielder has struggled for games since David Moyes took over and has now told team-mates that he needs to leave Old Trafford in the transfer window.

Kagawa, 24, fears he will continue to be frozen out of the United side in the build-up to the World Cup, and does not want to risk a lack of fitness and form as he heads to Brazil.

He arrived in June 2012 in a deal worth around £17million from Borussia Dortmund.

The German club enquired about re-signing him in the summer, and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have declared that they will be in the hunt to snap him up too if he becomes available.

Manchester United are tracking Polish starlet Karol Linetty.

The People says United manager David Moyes sent a top spy to watch the Lech Poznan teenager last weekend – who is already being compared to Real Madrid’s Croatian playmaker Luka Modric.

Linetty was only used as a sub in the game – much to the frustration of 40 scouts who took in the match.

Poznan will accept a fee of £4million for their top prospect, and the Reds plan to be in the bidding as the United chief tries to look ahead with his rebuilding strategy at Old Trafford.
