most counter one is pointless. unless u buy early in the morning over the counter on weekend. else good seats are all taken up. cinema take up rate for weekend is sort of 75% filled on the minimum.

or even better still advance few day buy.

that why gave up from cathay uob, rather use gv hsbc. with prepaid, 2tix = $15 , plus $1 online.

end up still $8 per ticket, can get good seats only if book the night before or early in the morning too. so buy from counter one worse.
good + cheap means you must take the effort to go earlier :)

the passion card i feel so far is really good deal, as long as you are someone who likes to go counter buy. usually on weekday if we happend to pass by cathay we will buy for weekend show already, like that more cost effective.

Somemore now passion card got promo $12 for 5 years and when you sign up for courses @ CC got like $10 discount so u can very fast recover the subscription fee :)

and free 1 ticket onlyv (buy 6 still only free 1 not 3) limited to the first 75 person per cinema (75 in cathay, 75 in cine, 75 in amk, etc)

Hey guys, wanna ask about the HSBC everyday card, I gotten the card from my friend, so, if I book online, do I need my friend's credit card when collecting ticket over at the counter or just the Movie card will do? I do know that booking fee will be charged to his card.

The credit card is not needed for collection.

I guess he is referring to "1 for 1 Weekend Movie Tickets at Shaw using SAFRA card (12 Oct-30 Mar 14)"
but that one cannot book online...and limited to 1 free ticket per member, plus i think first X no. of tickets a day only...
