I would've gone for the retina mini, but i realise that the screen is too small for long usage which is bad for the eyes.

Not fully agreed. Your ipad not just tv.

U will surf with it .

Will u surf with 40 inch tv?

Tell me tell me.

Very true. I have a 42" TV and seldom watch any movies on it. Normally will just use the iPad.

Both are good & same specs, just a matter of weight and size.

unlike older ipad.
ipad2 upgrade to ipad3 heavier for retina
ipad3/4 to mini lighter but no retina

Ipad air demand is strong. Now all models are available at least 5 working days later

I am wondering whether apple deliberately release news that mini r will be short in supply. I think that if they launched both on the same day, many would have bought the mini

i recall reading after mini launch, it's sales volume ratio with ipad4 was 3or4:1..athough mini specs lower...
now tat both are so much the same specs... it's wise to delay miniR. easier to coordinate inventory also. mini's profit margin maybe lower than ipad air also

I also always travel (every week), but that actually makes me prefer a big screen on the road.

With an iPad Air I could also leave the laptop at home for conferences. With the iPad Mini that'd be tough..

I also bring iPad air everyday with me... Previously was using iPad mini... Now with iPad air, the weight not much different and I can do my presentation to my colleagues much easier as display is larger (I do cluster group presentation with iPad mini previously and it was quite small for my colleagues to see)

those using ipad air just be considerate if u wanna use in the mrt and standing up.

i for sure will knock into your ipad if its hindering too much space :spin:
