I checked on liverpoolfc only mention he sustained an ankle sprain which
will require further assessment.

If Sturridge is out for a long time, our midfield really need to step up. We don't get many goals from our midfield and apart from Suarez/Sturridge, 3rd highest goal scorer for us is Gerrard, with 2 goals and both of them are from the spot.
