Hi,
Trying to understand what the craze about this card is about. Is it to top it up online with OCBC Frank card (>=$500) to get 6% rebates, and then use it for your everyday spending (topped up amount may last >1 month), so that your everyday spending is effectively enjoying 6% rebates?
Wish to clarify, can Fevo card be used for recurring payments? e.g. singtel bill. What about installments?
Fevo card may be used for recurring payments and installments - unless Merchants reject it.
But do remember, this card is not a bank-issued credit card, nor easy to use:
1) any merchant you interacted with can just deduct any good amount and instantly, and its hard for you to refute the payment.
2) forgot to top-up, you run risk of getting your critical payments cancelled, since there are no cash advance facility. If there are, even worse....
3) you may not be able to top up the card if EZ-link stops providing the facility.
4) or you may only be allowed to top up the card by NETs/GIRO, or EZ-link may adjust the fees laters (e.g. mandatory top up charges?)
5) some merchants outright reject the CC, especially overseas.
6) cross border charges / cross-currency charges are transparent (I think it is stated) but happens too often (especially at Airports/Internet websites) as compared to other bank cards I've used.
7) you will not build credit history with a bank.
