what is the purpose of that chart ?

everyone knew after Fergie, Wenger is the next oldest serving manager in the league.

but if talking abt being a manager in the league,,, Steve Bruce, Alan Pardew and Mark Hughes had chalked some high mileage too,

Don't worry, people here can't make up their minds over Welbeck being shiat but the team should be expected to play well without Rooney or RVP

:s13::s22:
awesome this is...

Michu not played since Dec...since then only draw Villa, win Fulham. sacked.

You, have a great day ahead!

Nice. No point letting his comments affect u, many here have kenna from his ultra defensive posts b4. Everyone has different views and ways of supporting a football club. Some views here will resonate more with certain types of supporters, some not so much. I choose to read, smile (or laugh) and forget for some of the posts - and there are more and more of these recently. The forum is a better place to be this way, even if we keep dropping points. Even if Moyes continues to keep the red flag flying mid table. =:p

yeah yeah

Pls tell what must we do....
drop a msg to Swansea CEO?

impossible, Swansea's philosophy is to play pass and move football, with the ball on the ground 99% of the time. DM will be the 1st name to be eliminated. :(

now just 2 pts away from the btm 3...
can not pass and move football.... those are during Brendan Roger & Laudrap's era... now must score and defend all the way.... Ah Moist is good at that,

In bold, very reason i read the forum for. =)

Everytime i see Evra overlap Young on the outside with a 1-2, i will ask, why can't the same be done on the right? It seems Young and Evra link up well on the left, Adnan and Valencia together on the right more robust.

Pass, Move, Pass, Move very nice to watch, but we do not have the DNA yet to do it. Our players not suited to it yet.

Evans, Evra, Rafael,Mata,Rooney,Kag, the rest... need to match up before we can play that way...

i think pass n move really is down to e training sessions as well.. look at e teams that are playing that way now - were liverpool a pass n move team? were bayern a pass n move team? its down to e coaches n manager to set the players right in matches n training sessions i feel..

as for our players' ability - i think some of them are able to play that way.. though there are some who can't like valencia n smalling..

we do on the right side...Rafael loh. but we also see Jones/Smalling very often in that position. so that's why it can't work. he can't do that crossing properly, he can't defend as RB properly too. Moyes need to stop resting Rafael.

what baffles me even more is why he can't start rafael on the right in consecutive games...Smalling/Jones doesn't offer much going forward and Valencia ends up having to do all the attacking and crossing. And we know how that went...

Giggs: Mata can be Utd great

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has backed Juan Mata to become an all-time great for the Premier League club.

Mata's arrival at Old Trafford has offered a boost to a United side struggling for confidence and form this season, with the Spain international signing from Chelsea for a club-record £37.1 million during the January transfer window.

Giggs insists Mata has what it takes to make the grade at United and when asked if he could become a United great, the Welshman told MUTV: "I think he could be.

"He's obviously got the talent. I don't want to put too much pressure on him but I don't see why not."

Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Stoke on Saturday means United remain seventh in the table, seven points adrift of a UEFA Champions League place.

But Giggs feels a major signing such as Mata can offer a massive boost to David Moyes' side, with the 25-year-old having already settled into the side.

"The players are just like the fans," added Giggs.

"When they see a quality player come through the door, it gives them that excitement and you feel it around training. It gives everybody a lift.

"We've played against him for the last three years and know the quality he has got."

Giggs also believes the player himself will benefit from the move as he looks to play on a regular basis ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

"Coming here will help him with regards to playing for Spain if he is playing week in and week out (for United)," Giggs said.

Giggs: Mata can be Utd great - TEAMtalk | Latest Football News, Results and Fixtures

I reserved my comments until end of the season, his effectiveness largely based on the position he is been deploy and I assumed this theory applies to many others. My irrational self will ask.." Mata is surrounded by some above S-League Standard players and can he stands out as the Crane in a flock of chicken??" :s8::s8:

The rationale of Smalling playing in Stoke game is probably of his height advantage. But hey Gary Nevile isn't the tallest for sure but was the mainstay of the team for years.

Another issue could be fitness, but we don't really know about that. shouldn't we at least have a proper right back as a backup? Where's the uruguyan kid we sign by the way?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer points Wilfried Zaha in Cristiano Ronaldo's direction

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has urged Wilfried Zaha to follow the example of Cristiano Ronaldo following an impressive debut for Cardiff City.

Zaha finalised a loan move to Cardiff on transfer deadline day after struggling to make an impact at Manchester United following his summer arrival from Crystal Palace.

The winger was introduced as a first-half substitute in Saturday's 2-1 win over Norwich City and he created the equaliser for Craig Bellamy early in the second half.

Solskjaer feels Zaha has similar attributes to Ronaldo and pointed to the dedication the Portugal international demonstrated during his time at United.

"I don't really want to compare Wilfried with Cristiano, but he has quick feet like Cristiano, he is brave like Cristiano and wants to go forward," said Solskjaer.

"I don't really want to compare Wilfried with Cristiano, but he has quick feet like Cristiano, he is brave like Cristiano and wants to go forward."
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
"But he is young. He has got to make a decision about how good does he want to be and how he loves this game.

"Coming in here he just wants to play football and he's been bright as a button these last few days.

"Cristiano worked every single day. I have never seen anyone work as hard as him. Before training, after training, he was an exceptionally dedicated man.

"For me and everyone who has been at United he is the one we talk about because he has done it.

"He proved to everyone what being dedicated gets you, having a chef to cook your food, dedicating your whole life to football and being the best player in the world.

"It's an example to everyone. I am not afraid of using Sir Alex Ferguson or Cristiano as an example when I have to because to get the best out of your talent you need to be dedicated.

"We all know that not everyone has got it. It's a desire and attitude from within, it's what you've got in your heart and Cristiano's always had it."

Since DM is obsessed with wing play, I couldnt solve this theory of not playing Zaha and left him out in the cold. Just like my game-Clash of Clan when I loved to leave my town hall out the cold.
Si mi sai theory Zaha plays ******* DM's daughter...We have eyes to witness Zaha has a good pre season but just could not force his ranking above....our No. 25 and No. 18. Zaha is English player ok!!!!! Lol...Hope he flourish at Cardiff under Ole...

it is all abt biz....
I doubt wenger will stay for so long if his team cant make it to the champion league every season since he joined.

Plus he makes the board happy by selling players at the right time for hefty profits.....
