cant decide on which driver to go up to cingjing..

market rate asked seems to be 7000ntd-8000ntd.

Dont rem in 2010 and 2011 got mata wear shorts worx..

mata back in shorts like recently only reh..

If Arcade is offering 23.6 and you have to make a trip down just to change..Not worth it also..S$1k will only get you NT$100 extra which is about S$4 based on 23.6..Like transport fees already..

Why compare current rates with rates 3 years ago? Machiam SG government forever comparing itself to Malaysia and China so they can forever be satisfied with the status quo but not hope for something better. And it's not like there aren't better rates around now.

If have to specially go down I also think pointless and not worth the hassle but I work in the area. So lunch time just look see lor.

There is. I'm saying for 10c more, will it be worth it to make a trip down?

If you look at westmall current rate of 22.8 vs arcade rate of 23.6, i would say definitely worth the time. Someone who was at Arcade scouting around ytd mention it to be 23.58 highest.Taiwan DBS 23.74600 now..

Of cos if you're working there then different thing but who knows what the rates would be next week.

By the way, SG Gov actually compares itself to Switzerland aka the Swiss standard of living.. :D

Aiyoh you're just being pedantic. My basic point is there's nothing wrong with comparing rates across the board. If someone wants to pay $30 taking taxi from pasir ris to jurong east to get "better" rates then so be it. We might call him an idiot but he if he feels he 赚到 and is happy, who cares. Ps: this example is if he changes a normal amount like 1k SGD or else later you tell me change 20k is worth it :s22:

Singapore only compares itself to Swiss standard when they want to brag. But when shat happens, they'll start to compare us to the lesser countries.
