No leh, not on the device itself.
Only got the Windows 8.1 product key only.

Yes ! Same problem here.

3G very very unstable. Most of the time is No Service.

And the Microsoft Office key is on the licence paper inside the box. It is the same key as Windows 8

Didn't notice it say w/H&S 2013. Too occupied by the 3G problem.

I felt rather silly when I was told I was the only person who refunded.
I guessed it was because many did not think about refunding...

Thanks for your advice. I have gotten your a refund too. Think Lenovo should do a better job. In fact, I have got the cover for the miix2 and the cover can't even fit properly. I got the refund for the cover yesterday, and the refund for the miix today. But I have to say the challenger customer service was quite good!

Was at Funan and was told OOS. Quite a number of people on waiting list. But Bugis branch did have stock.
Wonder how many got 3G lemon sets.
Anyone tried changing another set till it works.

Wa this is very serious , now see Lenovo wants to bring in more stable
tablet . I do hope they learn the lesson , now wondering will they bring in
the ThinkPad 8 or not.. very sad to see Miix 2 8 such a good tablet .

Such a let down.

It seems like intel 3g is failing especially for the bay trail units... not working for sg...

Challenger must be feeling pressurized by the amount of lemons they are refunding and hence stop sales... Better get your refund if 3g is important to you.

Answer: Cannot, only within 7 days. After 7 days it's Lenovo problem.

If it is a lemon set, the seller should be the one bringing it back for repair within 6 months.

Yes. Not only the 3G.
The windows 8 OS, the free Office student edition and the free keyboard makes it a very good replacement for notebook (putting aside the fact it is rather small).

But I did not attempt to do it as I was afraid I would void the warranty.

I share my story, may help some guys.

I bought Miix2 8Inch device at Challenger (vivocity)
firstly the next day I went back to do 1 to 1 exchange thinking that only my device got issue.
Then during the 1 to 1 exchange they got the stock of the keyboard that they pass to me 1 of it.
After testing for 1 more day. Not able to make it workable.
The day after, I bring back the Miix2 8 Inch and the keyboard (that I actually opened)
They refund me immediately with no issue at all.

Now, seeing the quality of the release. Their QC is really not good.
I'm planning to get Thinkpad 8 that the review looks like more well build. I will wait for the LTE version and few review before buying

This was what I was told by the customer service at Funan. They treated it as a "normal" case.
I felt that this should be a recall case already.

I will contact Lenovo on Monday, but they only have support for idea and think products.
Time to evaluate their aftersales service. Get ready service team.

Same. I got an iPad Mini (non retina) 64GB from Nubox after seeing their promotion.
Signed up the Anz credit card (my wife and I) and got two $10 vouchers. Redeemed my Star points to get $30 capitaland vouchers.
Factoring all these vouchers, I paid $698 for the 64GB. Though it was $100 more than Lenovo, it at least gave me no issue
