I'm one of the few I think, who opted not to get a refund for the broken 3g function, but to get a 1-1 exchange when the new batch arrives. I called them up yesterday and was told the next batch might be coming on the 10th

Until then, I'm still using my set. Nice tablet I must say.

No difference I guess, other than the one you mentioned. HDMI and weight.

The MiiX is lighter and slimmer, and it doesn't have a physical home button.

No problem playing 1080p movies through network.
Like many review suggested, remove the preloaded McAfee. It speeds up the system quite abit.

Looks like its back on sale. Today's ST paper got advert. But advertised by Microsoft. Challenger website still no updates.

yup.. got that email too. Makes this tab worth it. After selling the free keyboard, and getting this $50 voucher, the cost of the tab comes to less than $500

Finally bought this tablet at nex. The 3G issue fixed, but just wonder how to make the 3G stay connected even in sleep mode?

Did the exchange and got the $50 voucher.
There's a new promotion from Microsoft for a free 32gb microSD. But it is for purchases from 8 March to 1 June 2014.
For the new batch, I notice they improved on the power button and volume button. Its protruding out more and feels more sturdy.
