I got my hands on the black Z1 compact yesterday after spending more than one year with the excellent Xperia V.

Very nice phone, fast, responsive and a good looking handset, although I prefer the curve back of the Xperia V.

Happy with the acquisition.

whats the battery capacity for this phone?

Instead of using the bandwidth to ask this question why would you rather not do a simple Google search...

The local brochure printed 3000mAh is wrong.

The official specs all along is 2300mAh.

If such a small phone can pack a 3kmAh battery... God man. It will be a gift given to us by the Sony gods. I can imagine going 2 days without charging with heavy usage on it

Mine is showing 2400 mah.
I believe minimum is 2300 mah.

Showing 2400?????????????????????

Actually the motorola RAZR maxx was such a phone. Too bad they don't sell it here and the 4g isn't compatible with Singapore's network. If not I would have gotten it.

It is only showing the capacity, rounded down to minimum.
Perhaps some battery indicated 2330, 2350 or like mine 2400 mah.

Is there any ways to increase the vibration alert for calls? I find the vibration to be quite weak. Thanks!

No. I never knew any phone can adjust vibration level. :D

Idk about Sony but on the Nexus devices and LG G2, if you root and flash a custom ROM, you can change the vibrator strength..
But don't think many will go that extreme lol.

Anyway any bros with a coloured Z1C? (Non-white) how is the colour holding up?
My friend with a black Z1 used it without a case and after 2 months of usage there're chips all over the place, showing the white aluminium below.

Considering yellow Z1C but afraid that this will happen also.

actually, need not flash a custom rom (not all custom rom has vibrator settings on default)

Don't even need to unlock bootloader.

just root, install "Xposed Installer" and using Xposed installer to install modules which comes with additional settings.

Not sure if Gravity Box has it though.
