if you are the manufacturer, will you consider opening a store and pay for rental, utility bills and sales staff, when you already can clear your stock without spending all these extra money?

Currently nope. Unless you want to flash a custom rom that might have the chance to apply themes. Cos china themes app you can have the option to download free themes or buy paid themes through MiCredit. Sg version only allow us to download free but limited themes compared to other countries redmi.
