Then go M1 sua, cheapest. My parents eyes can only see traffic light ISPs... they love the 25% family discount so much... if only ViewQuest or MyRepublic got mobile services.
Then go M1 sua, cheapest.
All 3 ish the same shiet, so why no go for the cheapest shiet..![]()
in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
Singtel(me 200Mbps): 256 Ping
Starhub: 210 Ping
M1: 190 Ping
MyRepublic(100Mbps): 95 Ping
comparing all my friends gameplay ping![]()
haha, beggars can't be choosers.I will never have the chance to change ISPs until I go and stay alone in like 15 years time?
This all varies from each user locations that is for sure.
As long as the house to the exchange is extremely far away, your ping will be longer.
Traffic light ISP all shiet with bananaland "tech" support
MR used to be good until they brought in the STUUUUPID $50 1Gbps. And for the past 3 weeks, my international speed seemed to be slightly sluggish. The **** boss can go **** himself for going forward with 1Gbps
Haish... Tampines... Haish...
It boils down to many things actually.
1. Location from subscribers.
2. Distance from subscribers home to the nearest exchange for ISP where the fibre traffic is routed to.
3. The further the distance the more repeater they have to use to boost up the signal before it reaches its location.
4. Network structure & Traffic routing. Pure IP based traffics will never be so easy like from 1 point to 1 point and terminate. It is always travelling from one exchange to another. So example
Subscibers home in tampines > nearest exchange is at example pasir ris > go thru pasir ris > then reroute to tampines > route to ISP main core network > then route to the external sources like for instance a website.
5. Each exchange or repeater they go through, the ping increases. What is worse that the source of website or game server is outside SG. The ping is nuts. That is why most ISP do not dare to show their ping results outside SG. Including their download speed.
6. Heavy traffic will cause delays from fetching of results to end users.

Yup I got learn all this in school, indirectly...I thought tampines exchange was the building opposite tampines safra all the while ._. If it is at pasir ris, then what is that building? lol

That depends bro.
Cause it is purely IP based. And they may need to route traffics to their main core which in this case should be at Comcentre for ST.
So lets say if you from tampines, they do not have a direct fibre from your home MDF, they have to reroute the traffic to comcentre. That is where it cocks up. They can even go through 10 exchanges before it reaches the comcentre.
Ya Ya! Fought with them over the whole of last month, to ask them give me a better route or shortest and least congested route, in the end now my ping drop to 115 according to the last time I played liao xD
you can do that??? lols all i know is that my house got internet hahahaha
I very long never play liao lol, later they put me back to the old route or my route become cui again, I go slap their face
hahaha yea very long never see you online hahaha I just know that my Ping cfm super high in ghost thats why your bro keep complaining the killcam of how i kill him the other time hahaha
go Hainan ma, ytd got play awhile luh. But I damn sian over how pathetic ghost is compared to the rest of the COD series. I may buy watchdogs.
