If setting up on your own router, it will just work without payment.

I think kitsura was referring to 3rd party OpenVPN providers

If you intend to setup your own OpenVPN in your router, make sure you have the latest firmware with the patched OpenSSL against Heartbleed.

For those already setup, check with your router vendor for latest firmware updates.

Cheers

Good stuffs, thank you.
I'm contemplating between VQ's VPN and 3rd party like Astrill PIA etc, but i'll try them out with the 3 months free :)

Question is it possible sign-up the 300mbps and purchase the Asus router before my 200mbps 3 months is up?

Hm, best to call CS (6723 8100 option 1) so they can check your account, as they have full details of your subscription.

You may also PM your full name & postal code to @viewqwest account to check, if you're not in a rush to find out :)

Hello!

Yup you can switch to the 300Mbps bundle and get the Asus at anytime :) To do so you can just fill out an application form for the 300Mbps bundle (no need to fill out the billing or address section unless there's been any changes since u first signed up) and send it off to sales@viewqwest.com

If you have any questions please feel free to contact our customer service team at 6723 8100 (option 1) or e-mail to cs@viewqwest.com :)

@viewquest

For the VQ TV, can you briefly describe the difference between the android box and apple tv?
I THINK I chose the android box during sign up. Can it be changed to apple tv if i decide to change?

I'd signed up for the VQ500. This VQ TV will be installed together or... ?

For the One Voice, I'll just plug in any land line phone to the supplied Zhone router and that's it right?

First time using all these. Thanks.
