Sound quality is superb though!

Don't expect it to be a powerful machine though. Put a 720p mkv on it and it was stuttering very badly. I guess the only thing it can be used for is for listening to music

Your senn hd700 impendence is at 150 ohmn and using a ZX1
device alone may not get it's full performance.
Since you already spend so much on the headphone and player
so why not consider PHA-2?
PHA-2 is able to support and drive headphones with up to 600ohms.

What player u using? I use mx player 1080p no stuttering... even Z1070 can play 1080p.

I used vlc. Maybe mx player will be better, shall try and see.

Connected to my Synology NAS and tried to stream some 1080p also cannot. Only could stream my old 480p 80s cartoons, haha

Screen quality of zx1 is also quite lacking. Haiz, I think this is purely a music player. Colors are lacking, screen looks washed out on chrome. Chrome lags a bit while surfing.

I like the buttons on the side so that I can just skip track without having to swipe my screen.

I find the sound quality of my One M8 to be quite good considering it is a phone. Actually better than my Cowon J3. I'm using it with Westone 2 and Sennheiser IE80. Thinking of getting the ZX1 as I have over 100gb of FLAC files and it is constantly growing.

For Jazz, I think I prefer sound signature of zx1 more than my dx100.
But it is just initial impression, still don't have enough time to listen more.
