I like this. Vintage piece I assume?

you seems to have a fair collection of vintages. where do you usually get them?

Yes vintage.

No systematic way of collecting vintages; but generally through the years mostly from fellow collectors (forums local and abroad) and shops, including ebay (established sellers only).

i just love window shopping antique watches :)

I tend to go through "phases" of watch types so I tend to build around "collections" e.g. square faces, chronos, divers (now), instead of brands.

prices of vintages are quite volatile though. so if you're diligent you can end up with very good deals. (not me!)

Any chance u know where in sg physical shops I can get to see and handle the blue tuna and monster?

Last I checked it was all OOS for local shops, perhaps other bros here can advise? I molested my friend's one previously.

Saw a Blue Tuna at the basement shop (in front of Weston) at queensway shopping center... you might wanna try there. ;)

Nice! Really like your collection of watches. :)

Thanks, really appreciate the comment.

Its a lot of money and time down the drain though. Not for the faint hearted! Helps to have a wife who doesn't understand and chooses to leave me to it grudgingly.

Tks, yah i saw it there also. Creation only have the black one. But I think the blue one more chio:)

Btw bro can share some wrist shots?

Not the best pic as its really glossy - especially the bezel - and the curved crystal catches all kinds of reflections.

i have a small wrist (<6.5" and 49mm across top) but the watch sits flat so it doesn't look or feel large.

more pictures here The blue is dark enough for a formal outing and that bling bling polished sides add to the look :s7:.

a leather brown or sailcloth blue strap turns it into a real fashion statement.

Which is nicer ah?

I've always preferred RG with brown strap but the SS on blue strap is very nice too.

usually i'd pick rose gold on brown strap too, but this time the ss on blue takes the cake. Makes it looks less complicated on its already complicated dial.

Yes I agree. Same here actually. The "night" part matches the strap very well.
