Liverpool never do things the easy way. Overcoming Olympiakos, coming back from 3-0 down to win the Champions League and the countless last minute goal we have had over the years.

Though yesterday result literally handed City the title. A small part of me is still praying for the "Istanbul-Miracle" to happen. It's City title to lose now. Ball is round, anything can happen. Come on VILLA & HAMMERS!

What he said we can score goals, what's wrong with that? I am amazed how ppl here can twist and turn like tabloid and just read those catchy headlines.

tbh, when I read BR's comments, I don't think he went mental.

What he stated is a fact:

Which team scored the most goals in BPL? LIVERPOOL
Which team in Europe scored the most goals? LIVERPOOL

nothing wrong with that.

He actually just started his own little mind games with Mancity:
"If we want, let's challenge each other and see who can score the most goals in the final few games..."

agree. now we throw the "It's your title to lose" ball back into Man city's hand.

don't forget that we are now top, 1 pt ahead of mancity and 2 pts ahead of chelsea.

anything is possible!!!

You da man!

If Liverpool, Chelsea,Barcelona,Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid all can lose points what make Man City immune to the same fate?

We never know till the end of this season,I still carry hope and the team should fight till the last whistle.

Let's hope the boy will be jumping for joy on the morning on 12th ,even if it's only football.

At starbucks. Small boy was crying..Liverpool fan. Mother kept saying it's okay,it's okay,it's just football...

Bought a cheesecake, wrote a note, asked waiter to pass it to him.

Note: "It's ok. I am also crying - liverpool fan",
thanks for the cake

our players had made me proud this season, regardless of whether we are champion or 2nd place or even 3rd placing. hope you guys feel the same too.

As I always said: Win, Lose or Draw, I will walk with Liverpool.. already walking for the past 26 years.. no reason for me to stop walking with Liverpool ;)

BR conceded that Liverpool has lost the title.
"Yea... Yeah. There's no doubt that Manchester City is gonna win it. We needed to win tonight to have any sort of chance to keep the pressure on them till the very last game.
And we didn't do that. Its practically disappointing.
`cause as I said, to go 3-nil up in a game at this level, you know you gotta have that maturity and man-management to see it through and we didn't do that."

-BR was very critical in his post-match interview and that's important
-He used strong words like "Criminal" to describe how our entire team defended (Include all backroom staffs too).
- He praised the away fans for their overwhelming supporters who got the team in front but the team ended up conceding 3 very poor goals.
- halfway thru the interview, BR acknowledged that our team has been exceptional scoring 99 goals (Highest in BPL and Europe) but leaking unnecessary goals at the back. I think he also knew that our defense leaking so many goals is unavoidable, given such limited funds in the transfer market...

Upcoming Summer Market WE GO AGAIN!!!!

Just saw rafa's squad final standing in 09 was 86 points, goal difference was about 3 to 1.. For every 1 goal we let in we scored 3 in return.. Rodgers's record could be maximum 84 points, goal difference is about 2 to 1.. For every 2 goals we scored, we let in 1 in return..

I am pretty sure next season our premier league form will be effected when we start playing in the CL. BR is still very inexperienced in Europe and how to balanced the squad he is still just learning.. Some have pointed out that he already lead us in Europe last season.. Which is true. But looking at the record books, while we were in Europa cup, our league form wasn't that great.. We only started doing better in the 2nd half of the season once we went out of the Europa cup..

So this is why I don't expect us to be in the top 4 for next season.. as it's not easy to balance them, we have seen how it effected Chelsea and how much city benefitted from going out of it earlier.. Anyway, our CL may only last till Dec as we might not make it pass the first group stage as we may be given pot 3 status, which will be more difficult. So, the further we advanced in it, the higher the possibility we may fall short in the league.

So this is why I said this will be our only chance to win the title or we may have to wait a long time for this chance again..

I seriously don't belief it's the players at fault alone.. You can go buy another set of top defenders but if you are still going to play this brand of gung ho attacking football, you will still leave your defenders vulnerable no matter who they may be.. The style will have to be adjusted in order to help out with the defensive duties. Otherwise, the free flow will continue as defenders & midfielders are too high up the pitch busy trying to get more goals..

It's not a coincidence that suarez & Sturridge got so many goals this season.. Because they don't do enough defensive duties..

wonder how many of you who watched it live got vomit blood anot

Not only that but super heartache at the final whistle seeing our captain and suarez in tears..

Well, it was firmly in our hands but we let it slip away..

Next season will be new set of challenge to be in the top 4 as man utd, Chelsea etc will be strengthening their squad with quality players

i watched the 2nd half game during lunch time. almost wanted to curse and swear out loud... *FUMING*

oh well... just when BR finally found the way to score goals and win against ultra-defensive teams... :(

Same thought.. Tot finally we score against a team that park bus and going on to get a big win.. But the last 10 mins, my heart sank

Duno should say our tactics are naive or we are just plain unlucky to the max

are you sure suarez and sturridge DON'T DO DEFENSIVE DUTIES?

Suarez running back to defend against Palace put many defenders to shame and still can run forward to provide an attacking outlet. That teh-o tarik really is awesome and some say he's not feeling well before the game as well.

Real need to rob the bank if they really want him. :vijayadmin:
