Because there are not really that many people who will switch club to support.

Most people would rather stick by their team no matter what.

Or they will quit watching english football if their team keep losing.

People who openly admitted they have changed their club to support are actually very courageous and unique.

Exception to be made for Glenn Ong (DJ). He is just an attention seeker.

I still remembered 2 years ago when Vincent Kompany went to PC Show as an ambassador for Dell I can see a handful of Manchester City fans wearing their jersey shouting when their idol came and those fans were teenagers.

so actually there are man c fans around us but the number is small and their age might be relatively young.
