micro-sd support up to 64gb not enough for you? :s11:

Not really insufficient.. But rather I dont quite know how to actually utilize the 64GB Micro SD to support the low ROM. I got my wife a FonePad last year and its on 8GB. She like to game on her Pad and occassionally the Pad hangs and dispaly insufficient memory. I got her a 32GB SD but somehow I didnt quite understand how to utilize this 32GB SD to complement the existing 8GB on the Pad.. Hence, I find it a hassle to get the 8GB and decided to go for a higher Memory set. :)

So as stated, i will continue to post some stuffs about the ZenFone (so that i can psycho myself that it is good and will not regret buying it lol)

Read that ZenFone uses a special layer of coating for the screen so that there's less Friction, allowing the touchscreen to be better. It is also very responsive as it is super sensitive at 60ms, although i did not find this to be very good lol, to sensitive liao so i kept pressing a lot more extra buttons while i tried the phone last time xp

9/10 buyers will always apply screen protectors on their brand new phone before using, because habit la and kisau etc..... so :D

Haha true, me too lol

Btw ZenFone uses corning gorilla glass 3. Heard it is better than gorilla glass 2 (3X more damage resistance) and 4X tougher than the normal soda lime glass. That's why it has "HD IPS stunning display" lol

Though a few phones are using gorilla glass 3 currently, and upcoming phones will be using it, heard from my friends that these phones do not actually require to apply screen protector, as it will sort of "spoil" the screen and the phones will be resistant enough lol, dunno whether is it true or not...anyone knows?:s11:

ASUS also came up with their own ZenUI for the ZenFone series, which i found a few features quite good!

The "What's Next" feature allows us to manage our daily schedules more easily and giving us constant reminders at times, which i definitely need it a lot seeing how forgettful i'm lol.

The "Do It Later" also gives reminders on what need to be done, especially when i'm multi-tasking and tend to forget what i was doing just now.

Also, the "Easy Mode" is the best! It allows the older users and kids to use the phone more easily especially when they not not as tech-savvy as us. Will definitely makes a good phone for my parents! =)

i like the Do It Later app, but the 2 column layout is not very user-friendly; our eyes have to go from side to side and also up and down.

would have been better if it was a single column

I was reading up on the ZF6 and got myself drawn into this phone. Just like to check if we are able to purchase from Asus Taiwan online page directly...? And if so, are we able to change the language interface to English as default..? Reason is because during my holiday in Taipei, I notice all their gadgets are printed with the vowels symbols on the keypads for them to input chinese chars. So just like to check on this.

Anyway, I check on Asus Taiwan website, its on pre-order, stocks available on 7-Jun...? Still a long wait.Drooling over the ZF6... :D

Believe u can buy this phone from China instead (ready stock). Check it up on Taobao or Aliexpress. U'll just need to flash it over with an international rom version and u are good to go. ;)

Just a friendly reminder that the entire zenfone series does not have backlight for the Home, Back, and Menu keys. Redmi also no backlight. Mi3 has backlight

Sharing again some other features which i found useful, which are all the links basically: Share Link, Party Link, Remote Link & PC Link

The Share Link function is pretty much the same as other phones, which we can transfer files over wifi. The Party Link is the interesting one though, as it was stated that we can send a file to many people who are using ZenFone at the same time, not sure how it works though, but would be interesting to try it out!

Remote Link is also quite cool, as it allows us to use bluetooth to control powerpoint presentation or even media player! Will certainly help a lot in presentations, as i don't think other phones have this function right? They might need to download some apps or anything...do correct me if i'm wrong xp

Lastly the PC Link, which can mirror the ZenFone to the PC where we can control the phone from there. Will not be very relevant for me though, coz i still prefer typing on my phone. But it will be good for those who don't want to keep on referring to their phone while they work on their PC.

It was stated that the ZenFone offers Dual-Carrier HSPA+ which allows for faster website loading time and faster download speed, and its "intricate antenna design" also enable better connectivity and reception to the wifi network.

Anyone who has the phone tried it and care to share more about this?

Y does asus just insist on making the back/home/multi task buttons so far apart? It is just so troublesome for one hand operations.
