Anyone run into issues with Wifi Transfer via PC Companion with Win 8.1? My connection keeps breaking & Windows Explorer will crash when I attempt to create new folders...

Anyone has this odd issue where sometime you cannot turn on the Wifi? Need to reboot the phone before you can turn on.
Sometimes I notice when I get home that it does not connect to my home network and when I try to on it, it does not turn on.

How do we optimised the photos? I know for other phone we can choose finest, fine etc but don't think we have this function

Only in Manual Mode, then u can choose the resolution of your photo. :D

The Z2 allows you to select image resolution but I don't think it allows the user to choose between finest, fine etc (the level of image compression).

To me, feel same just some term use by different company. =:p

Question on manual OTA update.

Using flash tool with branding SG@UXT 17.1.A.269, the various options need to tick or not?

Anyway to adjust the volume when you pick up call? Mine is always at the loudest volume and I have to adjust manually. I did not see any configuration at the settings.

Uncheck the Wipe Data option if you want to keep your data. The rest of the options can remain as they are.

They refer to different concepts. Fine/Superfine etc usually refers to the amount of compression that you apply to the photo. For instance, Superfine applies less compression than Fine, therefore giving better image quality at the cost of larger file size (because of the lower compression).

Resolution however, refers to the number of dots that make up the photo. In a digital camera, you can often control these two settings independently of one another.

The Z2 allows you to control the latter but not the former.

Minor defects & Stereo speaker problem. Left side (top) softer than Right (bottom) speaker

Hi everyone! Gotten my Z2 purple two weeks ago, 27 April. A little sad and disappointed for some unexpected defects. Paint drop and a dent. Singtel shop was so dimmed... And I miss those areas to inspected. Learnt my lesson when I take my next phone after two years.

Wonder if they uphold their QC.... I took mine from Bedok Mall Hello Shop. As I stay quite far, I was dragging long to go to change and I had to wait for my father as I signed under his name as corporate plan but he was busy. Drag on until today which means I had passed the 7 days to exchange with Singtel for the minor defects and decided to live with it.

Until earlier today, my friend went to test the speakers. Z2 is known for its stereo speakers. But sadly and unknowingly, the left speaker which is top is softer than the right side. Unclear if its software or hardware issue. Went to Sony Xperia Centre at Bishan to send for repair. Will collect 3-5 days time. Also, tried to see if the minor defects can be claimed but it was so hard to persuade them as they say its hard to determine who's fault was it. But of course I'm the only one who knows about it. Was told frame would cost $200 to replace and the door would cost $80. Given up.

Overall, any one who will be getting this phone, please check thoroughly. It is a nice phone, no complains. And for existing users, check your speakers! :)

Same door, but on the other side on the edge, paint drop.

If anyone got advice on how to push my way through to get the door and dent solved, would be glad :D For now, I will live with it and probably get a casing or bumper.

Service Form from Sony for the speaker.
