i dont agree with ur statement since the card rebate is due to online spending.
if the merchant choose to do it otherwise without listing on the webpage of the final payment etc, this is not the consumer issue.
this is abit similar to site that is not register as online but is online payment but ocbc reject rebate.
on this example its transparent to consumer.

You already said it yourself, its the merchant and you, nothing to do with the bank. How many times do we really have to go through this? The bank got no control over how you and the merchant make this payment so they do not owe you anything if you or the merchant didn't get it right.

Frank is OCBC Credit Card, so it is eligible for 360 $400 spending requirement..

AFAIK, OCBC checks the online transaction based on certain transaction code. So, if your merchant posts the transaction using wrong code, how can OCBC qualify this as online transaction??

If ur merchant is not posting to ocbc witht the code reg as online transaction, u can always open a case with ocbc. pester them.

Hi, what are the usual transaction you guys did to clock $500 a month for the 6% rebate? Got so many things to buy online every month or is there a way to pay our bills online and get the 6%? Thanks.

Use Flashpay as much as possible... If you faithfully ATU with 3day window in-between, theoretically every month can already spend $350.

Nope

"ATU transactions are defined as automatic top ups on the NETS Flashpay function charged to your FRANK credit card. The amount for each automatic top up is fixed at S$50 per transaction and may not be changed."

how do i get the flashpay to top up at mcdonalds for the ocbc frank credit card if I have less than 12 dollars left?

I will have around 13 bucks left by the time I need to pay for my meal at Mcdonalds on monday

hello kitty cost me 4.95 and mcdonalds level 1 citrus burger meal cost me 7.60
= $12.55

I have 15.13 in the card now

I spend $2.24 on bus fare a day. so by monday I would have spent $5.64 by lunch time on monday 19 May 2014.

$15.13 - $5.64 = 9.49

How do I get it to top up around 5 -10 more via credit card so I can pay for my meal and pom pom purin hello kitty for my niece on monday?

I kinda have around 74 more bucks to attain before I hit the 400 a month for the ocbc 360 frank account you see.

just swipe for your meal using frank card at macs loh.. whats so difficult?

or just go ntuc buy some stuff and the last bus ride before your macs do ATU.

this kinda simple planning also need ppl to teach ah? aiyo......

hw to check whether my frank is linked to my 360?

Hi XasakuraX

you can check the Debit Card number which is linked to your 360 Account when you log-in to Online Banking, under the summary page.

Hope this clarifies. Thanks

Hi, how do I ATU every 3 days (in your example)? Is there a minimum Top up amount and can we ATU even if the card has got balance? Thanks.

I think it depends on the bus journey also? because when you enter the bus the maximum fare (from boarding bus stop to terminal) is deducted. So if you take just 1 stop before the interchange with $1.99, no ATU

It's up to your own planning... Won't ATU as long as there is balance (Q11)

Quite tough to earn the 6% huh...

My main expenses are brick and mortar stores...
(for example)
Spending at Fairprice is 9% on OCBC Plus card
Spending at Robinsons is 5% on OCBC Robinsons card
Spending on Petrol is 19.6% on OCBC Plus card

Care to share how you (you guys) use Net Flashpay? Many thanks!
