Suddenly can't receive any data via my home plug... the weird part is it seems that replugging the homeplug gives me like 10-30s access to the Internet after that it wouldn't receive anything. Wifi on my mobile is fine, so there's nothing wrong with the router.

Anyone encountered this strange incident before? This aztech 100Mbps I am using is quite old already, about 5 years I think.

Don't wish to subject myself to such problem again so I don't think I will buy a new homeplug. Any wireless USB Dongle to recommend? I am using Singtel 2Wire 5012NV-002 Gateway

If you want future proof, get AC1200 wifi adapter.

It's for 867Mbps right? Don't think I need it anytime in the future also. Is there any differences between Wireless N 150Mbps vs 300Mbps, given the fact that my plan is only 100Mbps?

I am in the same situation like you. Was using singtel fibre 100mbps until free upgrade to 200mbps. Then realise my ESR9850 capped speed at 150mbps. So I got from M1 customer an Asus RT-N56U dual band router. This replaced both 2wire5012 & ESR9850. Now my mobile devices & laptop can connect to 5GHz signal for faster speed.

Why you got 2 router(2wire5012 & ESR9850) before that? The ONT can't be replaced right? So if I change to a better router, it will still be ONT > New router?

I don't need damn fast speed, at most 300Mbps is good enough but right now I am only subscribed to 100Mbps. So getting a 150Mbps vs 300Mbps wireless N Wifi adapter technically have no diff right?

2 routers? 2wire5012 has only 1 gigabit port and lousy wifi. I am running a gigabit network with NAS and multiple devices.
