Er... sorry to correct you FATA master...
But i think the shareholder equity is 86,586,000 and not 90,266,000 as you pointed out..

Am i correct?
to add on....

usually when someone look at debt/equity ratio.... they take "total liabilities / equity"
They don't simply just choose those loans and borrowings amounts only...

I thought the debt in debt/equity is only interest-bearing debt and not total liabilities?

I second what SpeedingBullet said. Its interest bearing debt.
Account payables do not bear interest and hence are not considered debt.

In fact, its also a good idea to remove non-interest debts because these are considered good debts to carry.

Can be both ways.

If you wanna calculate WACC then u only have to use interest-bearing debt. But if you wanna value by adding all liabilities then total liab will be better.

total liabilites is for the lazy people who dont know how to differentiate the interest bearing debts from others.

the right way should be just the interest bearing debts.
