I had the same issue. But after updating to the latest version of Swiftkey earlier, I was messing around with the settings (nice new themes!) and found that you need to increase the value of the Vibration duration setting for the vibration to work. Default value is 10ms and I adjusted to 50ms.

This phone would take a very long time to charge or won't charge at all with a normal android charger, only the charger that comes with the phone itself, would charge it but I need a charger with a longer cable like 1.5m cables, anyone got any chargers to recommend?

Actually, you need to give more info. The sony charger is just 1.2-1.5A(can't rem but I think its 1.2A).
How many A is your normal android charger, there are so many, even <1A.
How is ur power consumption of phone when you are not charging, did you rem to off the screen after connecting the charger? The screen will turn on when there is power.
If your consumption is low, there could be something wrong with that charger or even phone.
Yes, 1.5m or long will make charging less efficient but not a big deal compared to the A capacity of charger.
I am using 5m cable with original z2 charger and it works fine.

Btw, One has to rem Z2 battery is huge.
3200mAh.
Ideal case, 3200mAh /1.5A around 2hour plus for full charge.
Add in losses and consumption, it can take 3-4 hours to full charge on 1.5A original charger.

If I use the charger and cable that comes with the z2, it would take 2-3 hours to full charge but if I use the same z2 charger but change the cable it would take 10-15 hours to fully charge...I google on this and a website said to just use the charger and cable that comes with z2 so I thought it was normal, this website -----> http://m.digitaltrends.com/mobile/xperia-z2-problems/#!XlDxR

Hold Volume Up key while connecting the phone to the PC.

True... Oem cable quality also varies very much and low quality cable will result in extremely slow charge. I have bought those 3m cables online to charge my previous S4 and overnight, battery increase by less than 10%!

I do uses the old original iphone 1A charger with magnetic charger. Takes about than 2 hours (excluding tickle charge). Same charger when using DK36 takes about 30 mins more...

Why mod? What case you using?

The DK36 comes with interchangeable slot so just change to the bigger 1 shd fit ba... I was using Casemate barely there with Nillkin Glass SP also can fit...

I have also seen in earlier post that some1 uses a file and sand paper to "enlarge" the slot...

Mine is aftermarket.. Don't have bigger slot.. Haha
