I collected my phone from Sony Service centre after one week.They have replaced a new mobo board. I noticed the FW version has changed to 17.1.1.A.0.402 and there's singtel apps on it. I suspect they install custom FW for singtel but I am using M1 will my phone still update when new FW is available from M1?

I'm not aware that there's such an app. But there's a mod that allows you to do so:

[APP][CAM][KK4.4.2][UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER] Cyber-shot™ Camera For Xperia Z2 - xda-developers

But it requires unlocked bootloader, root and deodexed ROM.

What's your customization version? To check, enter *#*#7378423#*#* in your dialer, go to Service Info, then Software Info. What's under "Customization Version"?

i was very amazed when i try mdr-nc31em on z2 too.

usually noise cancel headphones are bulky and required batteries to run.

but Sony implement it so nicely with z2, that it is so light and simple to use.

A simple but very useful innovation.

That is the reason why I prefer mdr-nc31em over Beats wireless and A-Jays five... Lol... :s12::s12::s12:

This phone is very good the only downfall is the 16gb onboard memory, if it was 32gb or 64gb imagine how many games and apps you could put on z2. Now after putting a few apps and games I have 4gb onboard memory left :(

Anyone know where can I get the starhub firmware ? I have starhub sim but using single set z2 wish to remove the singtel pre install app permanently thanks.

can i ask if the noise cancelling headphones mdr-nc31em come standard in the box with the Z2? Or is a seperate accessory that need to buy from Sony?

Just got my Z2 and found mine is some ordinary earpiece while some online reviews on unboxing shows the headphones come in the box

Sorry, just found the answer by searching. It does not come with it, only the Taiwan version has it.
