Give the vice only method a try, I stumbled upon the smaller vice in Msia and bought it since it only costs ~S$6. More important it is safer to both fingers and chip.
Another voltage scaling sample with prolonged testing, I have made the > 1.30V results less prominent since 24/7 safety is debatable.

Woomack said:I managed to run my G3258@4.7GHz - 1h XTU ( Prime95 ) and 4.8GHz 1.4V Cinebench ( had no time to run it in anything longer ).
Scalling is really weird:
4.2GHz - 1.20V
4.5GHz - 1.35V ( 1.3V was giving 124 blue screen )
4.7GHz - 1.40V
4.8GHz - 1.40V in Cinebench R15
4.9GHz - problems to enter Windows up to 1.5V
5.0GHz - problems to enter Windows up to 1.525V
