that day i called in for voucher, they gave me a $100 voucher, today I received a hard copy voucher from mail by singtel.

I think you need to ask some of the bro/sis here, it's my first time calling in for voucher, some of them are digital and some are hard copy. Yah, I called in. The voucher took a few days to reach here i suppose.

anyone can advise if my M1 expiring 4 oct, if i port num to singtel on 19sep, will there be any issue? and how much will be the early termination penalty from M1, very little i presume since its already in its 24th month already.

You just need to sign a new line at ST.
A ST number will be issued to you.

Once M1 contract is over, go to ST and tell ST that you want to port your M1 number to your new ST number. This will avoid any penalty.

I was M1 pioneer batch but they didn't take care of loyal customers who were with them from the day they set foot in SG
no vouchers !!! nothing

I migrated to ST n never looked back
besides ST has keyliner that enjoys annual handset upgrade minus when bundled with fibre or bb

Exact same situation as you, been with M1 since day uno and they didn't do jacksh*t to reward their loyal customers.

If it's not the free handset upgrade and multi-line discount, I might be more tempted to jump ship. However the signal coverage is something that is very hard to overlook if the line is also used for work.

If it's solely for personal usage, there's less barrier to switch to green or orange, especially green if one needs to call overseas often as they have FOC IDD for a decent list of countries.

FAQ says 2 phones for 1 NRIC. Pre-order have to perform twice, not at one go. Everything is tied to NRIC, not name.

1 nric = 2 lines under your own name.

i think is like this huan, if not, anyone can tag along your neighbors or friend's which is going to be messy. then if want to transfer ownership of line, need pay additional charges. im getting a new line for my dad's early bday in oct but not going to put under his name for convenience sake that i can jitao pay his mthly bill without opening his letter.

I'm getting better CIS rates that even Starhub and m1 cannot match. Plus singtel is relatively reliable for me

whats ur percent and plan?
what i can see their cis rate is decrease heavily.
unless cmes then maybe all along got gd rate?

Don't think anyone can give you an answer for that, only 1688 can. Unless you are between 21-24 months on your contract, it will be very challenging to squeeze anything out of them. You can try but it's like squeezing blood from stone.

There are vouchers that are tagged to your account in the system or physical vouchers, depending which one you get.

Singpost only delivers mail on weekdays and it's Tuesday evening now. Do you think Sinkhell is so efficient to get it to you in time?

If I'm not mistaken I read that they are trying to consolidate CMES plans to CIS and discounts as expected have decreased.

Dirty donkeys... probably trying to clawback the S$400m they overpaid to spoil market for BPL rights (Starhub paid S$250m prior to that).
