Black Box can also watch local HD channels...for set top box, what are the options I have to buy in SG?
1. Draco
2. ACRyan PLAYON!LIVE
what else?
Direct connection to SCV point will already get you Mediacorp HD channels assuming your TV got DVB-C tuner. Otherwise, DIY $2.30 antenna will do.
Then just get those cheap DVB-C/T tuner off taobao/aliexpress will do.mine is old analog TV. and my antenna cant work. i cant get anything
Anyone have seen this youtube video for mobile DVB-T2 android phone? Anywhere I can get it in Singapore?? Seems like now only available in Thailand.

they must have expected this yet still push ahead
must be some hidden agenda
likely is a temporary measure to buy time for something more concrete still in the making ... but is still a waste of time and $$
I personally don't see the need for commotion anymore when StarHub is already pushing all these Mediacorp digital HD and SD channels via cable unencrypted.Honestly speaking i don't think there's any hidden agenda it's more like what the f**k can u do ? They simply forced u to go out and buy the digital receivers and antenna if u don't than u don't get to watch the channels come 2016, it's typically how the gov in Singapore works nowadays.![]()

You simply just need a TV with DVB-C compliant tuner.
