This is quite a good alternative to a original cable. I have tried to charge it on my iphone6 and comparing with the original cable, it charges about 20 to 25% faster. If anyone is keen let me know, price is about $10.

Is it possible for a cable to charge a battery faster? I always thought that the cables were the same. If anything, it was the problematic connector (which required the MFi certification/compliance issue) which caused a problem but even then, can it really be faster than an original Apple cable?

i bought the remax wire-mesh cable from qoo10 @ abt 6 sgd. cable is thick, strong and difficult to get tangled up. it is charging and syncing all my file very well.

the only bad point is the connector head is too thick and it is too big for my spigen casing, end up i had to cut/ sand some plastic off my connector head to make it slightly smaller.

always check the lighting cable opening for your iphone casing before purchasing unless you dun mind to waste time removing the casing whenever you want to charge your phone

The quality of the cable does affect the amount of current that's able to pass thru. But I don't believe a non MFI version can be faster.

OK, and I agree that a non-MFI cable can perform better than a MFI-certified cable. In any event, I'd be concerned if one cable charges so much faster than another. Something somewhere is not right.

What I meant was the duration that you have been using it :s13::s13:
Non-MFI cables are known to work. But only for a short period of time, say a few weeks before dying.

I picked up the Cygnett one (2m in length) and I've not had an issue with it. Quite pleased.
