Change the coaching team

True. When Chambers was getting murdered by Montero, Wenger did not make any change all game.

He could have tried getting Bellerin in to match Montero's pace or asked Ox to help out more at the back.

Defensively our tactics and personnel are both terrible right now.
Happy to see the international break. In this form we would have lost couple more games.

Surprisingly.. I don't even feel anything.

Let's see if Arsene will get his 4th place trophy this year.

Lose better than draw la...draw gives a false sense of hope.

Kind of agree. Its the kick in the balls that the team needs.
Wenger does sound frustrated after last two games but somehow he doesnt make any changes to the team. Players like Campbell and Podolski should get a run in, even though they are probably not a solution.

Jan transfer agenda should also be clear now. If Wenger doesnt fill up the holes in defence, then I would assume he has written off this season and would start again next summer.

Looking at the pathetic form of our 3-4 place rivals, I think fourth place will be secure even with the bad form we have. Southampton, Swansea, West Ham are bound to slip up as season progresses, mainly due to lack of depth in their squads. Chelsea, Citeh, Arsenal, United should make up the top 4. Spurs, Liverpool and Everton have slipped off even more than us this season. United will improve as season progresses.

even the commentator also can see that swansea are aiming chambers all the way, only wenger cannot see... never make any changes or do anything to prevent it.

like what they sae, u will see arsenal in the top 4 at the end of season but title contenders? far far from it.

if this goes on, i think alexis sanchez also will sian, soon will move to man city or chelsea.. arsenal now really is feeder club for others . . donnoe wats wrong with the mgmt

I also wonder why never sub in Bellerin, surely he can't do worse than Chambers right?

He kanna skinned by Montero at least 7-8 times so easily.... It's unbelievable that Wenger chooses to ignore it. Pay the price ultimately for their 2nd goal deservedly.

Sub in Sanogo instead of Podolski?? why seriousy?? Podolski is proven goal scorer and much more clinical. If he has any half chance, sure he will put it in back of the net already. Wenger always only make changes when something happens like opponents score... all reactive instead of proactive... just sick and tired of this same crap over and over again for the last 10 years already

bcos he's obviously have no trust in bellerin able to come in and do a job. same with campbell, and too a certain extend, rosicky now. Arsene is known to have faith in his players, blind faith. like how many fans stick by him even after all the errors he've made. tat's why he fields the same team, who gets beaten and plays terribly, week in week out.

i wldn't fault chambers bcos u can tell he's doing his best. but if he's best isn't good enough then can u still blame him? having been tormented by Montero in the first half, the manager puts him out to endure the same punishment in the 2nd. the reason he didn't bring poldi on is bcos he needs to go for the long balls, punmping balls into their box aft we goes behind and in desperate attempt to get something, and poldi is never gonna win u headers. Sanogo was a nuisance for their defense after coming on.

the pblm i feel is Arsene don't quite know who to play the players to their best. he doesn't have a system to utilize the players and bring the best out of them in every positions, or at least most of them. bar alexis, who came in a few months ago and have not gotten his influence yet, the rest are more than happy to do passing ard their box instead of attacking it. u can see the mental difference between alexis and carzola. Alexis has a winner's mentality, which i hope never gets rubbed off by Arsene. the rest of the squad certainly not have tat. its clear Mert is no longer interested in playing anymore. Monreal isn't comfortable and keen on played at ** and he's showing it, yet Arsene choose to play him there in every single game.

if i can choose, i will play 4-2-3-1 which we have done for seasons and season before. after fabregas left for Barca till Ozil last season.
------------Szcz--------------
Bellerin--Mert--Chambers--Gibbs
-----ramsey------flamini------
Campbell--Carzola----Chamberlain
-----------Alexis-----------

Bellerin comes in at RB bcos he have more pace to recover if we are under counter attack. he's also more than capable to match the pace of most PL wingers. Chambers slot in at ** bcos he have more height presence than Monreal. tat is the least back 4 we can field now without being exposed so terribly. i put ramsey at the right side bcos his energy can help Bellerin out every now and then to cover. same too for campbell who is hardworking as well. Campbell bring a directness which we needs, tgt with Alexis. Carzola is there bcos we have no other player able to fit no.10, and his best games for us is in tat position. the Ox at left winger bcos his pace, tgt with gibbs, will be a concern to opponent's right flank. we can bomb up the pitch in a matter of seconds, and Ox can bomb back to cover when Gibbs is way too high up the pitch. also, they're twins so opponents might be marking the wrong player. I put Alexis in front bcos welbeck offers no hold up play, no aerial ability and very little link ups. so i don't see the need to play him when Alexis is more effective and dangerous.

we have had a good season last year and the failure to built on it is puzzling. yes, we bought a few players in but wat i see is just plugging the gaps left by those department or those we needed the seasons before. yet, 2 impt positions have not been worked on which is so obvious for all to see, except the manager.

i expect a loss. manu might have the same pblm at the back but i don't see our attack having any threat to them, apart from Alexis. if they can mark him out then i don't think we will score. going forward, they seems more of a threat to our defense then we're to theirs. also, manager wise i see LVG more capable to tweak his tactic to counter ours. Arsene is never going to do tat. a draw will be a bonus. hate to see RVP come and rub salt into our wounds. he must be taking a pissed at our players now. the little boy inside him giggling away

if southampton is bound to slip due to the lack of depth in their squad then so will we. slip further, bcos we're in the same situation in having no depth. at least in the defense. they have conceded the least goals, if i'm right, and after a window where they lost almost have of 1st team they are doing much much better. whereas we bought in so many players and played like a team who just got raided. if we finished 4th, then i could jolly well be the best season Arsene had managed.

if we failed to beat manu or even lose to them, we could drop down to 8 or 9th place given manu wins and newcastle take the points also.. our next 5 games are against manu, westbrom, southampton, stoke and newcastle. used to be a comfortable run of games where we could take at least 9 points. however, our last runs of winnable games left us with a couple of points only. can't imagine what the next 5 will do to this team. newcastle and southampton are on the up, moral boosting wins. Stoke is always our bogey team. adding Dortmund at home to the mix? gg

I don't hope for a draw. Although bitter but I find it difficult to snatch a point.

Bro, almost all the fans can see the problem. Even former players got put down by stubborn Frenchman. Even if theres a greatest specialist to input ideas or gives comments, he will never listen as his pride will be torn. We fans who been supporting the team have to lan lan suck thumb. His 1st 10yrs might be great but what happened for the past 8 seasons or so he broke records negatively. He inherited a good team. When players from that batch retired or left, look at how he built the squad.

yes, and i totally agree on the point. his 1st half of reign warrens a stature. what he did for Arsenal, the club and the football of england is remarkable. but like u said, his 2nd half of reign seems to be slowly, but surely, eroding it away. his stubbornness and his stupidity in pride seems to gets the better of him now. but its exactly the same virtue tat he managed to build the invincibles. many fans wld have said he inherit a very solid team, but if u look at the 1st team of the invincibles only the only player u can identify is Bergkamp. apart frm him, every other players were bought in by Arsene. but of cos, the mentality of the predecessor remains with the club thus the fighting spirit and the warrior attitude. we clearly lacking them now. this team has so much potential that if properly managed, we would be challenging, if not winning any titles we want. sadly, it has to wait for 2 more yrs.
