The scientist whose work is based for this movie said most of it is theoretically accurate except for the "frozen cloud'. He said that's impossible

Even the higher dimensional being? :s13::s13:

Oh come on already.......

If anything, his books were written decades ago.....

Guys, you do realize that I'm sarcastic (Especially about the realistic black hole) in my previous post, right? ;)

lol okok.... no i didn't realize... think i'm being abit too serious... :s13::s13:

This is a movie, not a science class or documentary, i dun know why are u so upset about the false science behind it?

Or u telling me that thor, hulk, iron man must be real to make a movie about Avengers? :s22::s22::s22::s22:

they were humans la.

technically with the knowledge and tech of the space ark and the time dilation involve, that sort of mastery is not impossible.

anyway it's a movie, being all up about its realism, is like asking why the characters no need to **** pee and sleep also.

gd show but....

before cooper went in the tesseract to drops the dust(showing coordinates to nasa) in murph's room, who did the initial job of being murphy's ghost doing the same thing in the 1st cycle? phuture humans?

the space city in the end reminds me of same thing in gundam W

cooper.

must think of time as a loop rather than a before/after process.

Everything happens 'concurrently' which is y in the tesseract, all the different time period can be accessed at the same time by cooper bcos he is able to move across time freely.

Instead of thinking time as a one dimensional flow, we sld think of it jus like the other space dimension.

That's just plot-no-jitsu-super-device to allow story to progress. While there have been cases of reported anomalies with little to no proof (people travelling through time and whatnots), there is always the time paradox thing which leads to many questions and then you have that gargantua in this show to fix everything in a "split second"

everyone always speaks about the dimensional thing as a close loop kind of stuff but I have yet to see any proof to this. Although I bet if there was one, we will have technology to start playing with the space time continuum.

Below is an infographic for anyone confused though about the timelines.

And I just like to mention that I like how this show explains relativity though. the part about waiting 23 years really crack me up haha.

A very good movie with very interesting parallels to the bible and a deliberate loophole that can't be explained by logic or science.

1. You have 12 astronauts aka 12 apostles who go out to save humanity.
2. 1 of which do the ultimate betrayal
3. You have black hole that starts with the letter G
4. You have Noah ark carrying eggs to repopulate the world
5. Show ends with Adam and eve
6. Deliberate plot loophole, i.e. how is it possible for future humans to build another dimension if cooper wasn't there to save them in beginning - well through god who can bend space and time.
7. Disproportionate time on heaven and earth

And many more actually, lol... no coincidence they named the astronaut Dr Mann who is essentially a personification of Men's selfish and evil nature

If higher dimension beings are able to travel through time freely. Then there won't be any time paradox isn't it? Jus like how we move in 3d world.if I go to the toliet from my room, I can always go back to the same room from the toliet. If we treat time as jus any other dimensions accessible by the higher dimension beings, and if they are always able to go to any time back and forth then there will not be time paradox.

And the tesseract is not jus something that is solely there to end the show quickly. It is a 3-d representation of the 5-d world that the transcended beings lives in. It shows how cooper is able to access different time jus like how ppl can aCcess different position of a room

Also, I'm not sure why u mention time travelers.... Do u mean that if everything is happening concurrently as I described then there will be ppl in the future living with us or something? Firstly, it is jus a movie. Everything is just theory. Secondly, I think the theory is not totally impossible. Those beings that are able to travel through time are 5-d. As a 3-d beings, we will not be able to perceive their existence. Which I guess is y throughout the whole show, there ain't any direct contact (visual or physical) with the future human. Cos we cannot perceive them. Their onli way of communication is through gravity

It is a fugged up movie. Boring and long-winded. Any movies raved in EDMW are in reality very crappy just like the previously highly rated movie here - Fury.

Dude, you need to learn reading more. I was not talking about the movie's realism but about those people in this thread who see this movie as scientific accurate and want to learn science from it.

Read all my postings in this thread before you rush to comment or jump to a wrong conclusion next time please.

How am I upset? :s13:

I was laughing at all the ridiculous claims made in this thread throughout in all my postings in this thread. That hardly constitutes an upset.

Only people like you love to make a mountain out of a molehill.

It's because you incapable of understanding the show.

I understand. I love watching profound movies like Beautiful Mind, The Pianist etc. But this movie is a long pile of crap and highly raved here. The last movie I watched due to reviews here is the damned movie Fury which is about an orgy in an American tank.

Well looking all your replies, its quite safe to say you are the one making mistake. Most ppl are well, just talking about the movie and out come the butt hurt comment on how the science in there are all wrong and then proceed to debate with so many ppl in here over every little details.

And looking at all your past replies its all within that 'i know everything, u ppl know nothing type of trollish comment'

Really so lame. :s12::s12::s12:

Well, dude, since you are stating craps about me out of nowhere, look at this way:

1) I was not bashing the movie, I said it was average. Go back and read

2) I'm not the only one in this thread to talk about the science in this movie. There are tonnes of others, some much more extreme or detailed than me. Its a mystery why you would target me specifically

3) in contrast with your accusations that I debated with so many people. In reality, I only engaged in a small debate with two or three guys in this thread (Actually to be honest, its just one guy). So here again, you are overreacting.

4) If you disagree my point of view about science in this thread, just raise it. Accusing that I'm the type of person who knows everything and love to troll, is not only bullsh1t but reflect negatively on you as a person who choose personal attack over discussing the issue.

5) If you are butt hurt about the things said in this thread, get a mirror. Its not me or anyone else problem.
