Did not wow me on first sight as compared to the PR. Frankly it looks a little like a regular a creator 3-in-1 set in that there's too many colours. Pretty easy decision if I were to pass on this set.

Yes, PR wins hands down for me too.
The color scheme of the detective office (the reddish brown bricks are great though) is spoilt by the yellow wall bricks.

Not sure whether it's the pic or what but seems to be too much yellow -- the yellow wall bricks, the yellow faces. Also, 2 of the minifigs have the same tan ( looks yellowish in the pic) color legs :s22:

How much ? Any guess?

looks like it's 139.90 USD, should be same as Parisian Restaurant, about $270sgd, though most likely only an April release. Of course I'm sure quite a few of us will pay abit more to get it first, myself included. Can't wait!

Same school of thoughts here. This set is like abit of everything, pool saloon, barber shop, 2 floors of residences i think and the detective agency is just a small part of the set. Waiting to see the interior.

I've always think of the Creator 3-in-1 as some kind of low cost low piece count versions of the modular buildings :)

As usual, a 3-month delay from the western release, well, at least got some time to save up for it :)

Now that you guys mentioned it, the colour does seem a bit out with the minifigures being bright yellow.

Though I'm more interested in the overall design than the colour scheme, which may be out a little :)

Here's a picture of the back of the box.

There are some interesting trap door design, obviously can't live without them being a detective and all :)

Hmm. Back of box never show pet shop. I guess they only show the sets that have been rebranded as creator expert.

Just found this:

21204_alt1.jpg

It's some kind of virtual Lego City building game with a twist. You build a front facade using the supplied bricks and then scan it using the tablet which will create a 3D model and add into the virtual town.

Only available in US for now.

There is also a Friends version :)
