How much to add 4gb ram?

My macbook is able to turn on but will auto shutdown after the apple logo.
How much is the price of repair. I believe it could be due to the hdd. If that the case if i were to upgrade to ssd how much further do i need to top up? Might be heading down later after work. Hope to hear from you soon.

We have dropped PC repair for sometime already.
Anyway, you can only upgrade to Quad core max. i3 and i5 is not possible.
Not worth doing as Core 2 Quad is more expensive than the present i3 processors.

Hi.... my Fujitsu lappy cant connect to any internet services either thr wifi or lan. Suspected network card faulty. Kindly advise watz d damage for replacing? And how long do i have to leave it @ yr place for repair? Thanks in advance.

1 pc of 4GB is $50, 1 pc of 8GB is $98.
But how much the eventual upgraded RAM capacity depends on what is your original RAM configuration of your unit.

Your laptop have ONLY 2 RAM slots.
If you have 4GB RAM in the configuration of 2GB + 2GB, then upgrading to 8GB needs to pull out these 2 pcs of 2GB RAM and put in 2 pcs of 4GB RAM. That will cost you 2 x $50 =$100.

If your original configuration is 1 x 4GB RAM, then you just need $50 to upgrade to 8GB.

Hi,

WIFI card and Lan ethernet are separate hardware. if both are not working, it is more likely a software or external router issue.

if it is the laptop hardware issue, it should be the motherboard that is faulty, not the WIFI card or Lan hardware.

Have you try reformatting the your laptop already?

By the way, which is your exact model of your fujitsu laptop?

I heard a lot that the extra 24GB SSD is mainly used for caching but I am wondering whether is it possible to upgrade it to a mSATA SSD and move my OS into the SSD and maintain my 500GB HDD as secondary storage.

Yes. it is possible. But that is a half height SSD, max size so far is 128GB. There are no major brands producing it. We brought in the card specially from the manufacturer.

Yes. We could try.
Probably keyboard issue, need to replace keyboard.
In some rare cases, it could be motherboard issue as well.

K450J should be still within a year? The warranty is 1 year for this model unless yours is a special purchase somewhere else.
