I am using Neo Hybrid Metal for both IP6 and IP6+, sometimes I do notice the drop of 1 dot on the signal display (as compared to using the Ringke Slim cases) but in daily usage I do not feel any difference.

Shouldn't affect so significantly that you'll notice it.

No different or special as compared to other brand.
Similar look or protection can get cheaper from other branded like spigen also.
Spigen metal series is nicer imo
