I don't know why it all changed this season, when the manager and players started talking about targets.

All going pear shape for them so far. Even now you have Lallana talking about top 4 finish. We're a long way from there IMHO.

I think there's nothing wrong with talking about a top 4 finish. Afterall it is still a target, and we are still in the mix. And if you watched his interview, he was asked specifically about champions league next season, and he did say taking it game by game but top 4 remains a target.

why do we need another young striker?

we got sturridge, balotelli , lambert, borini, next season origi,
even sterling is considered a striker now.

we dont need that many strikers.

what we do need is a top goalkeeper.

Borini is off, Origi unproven (could be another aspas), Lambert is slow as hell and only a plan B, Sturridge made of biscuits, and Balotelli is clinically insane, and between all off them, noone we can depend on to score goals. We need a top striker badly. Just so happens mig is suddenly made off rubbish as well. Rodgers gotta buy well in Jan.

It's what we also want spoken out not. If nobody says anything then be blame for being unambitious. The important thing is how committed they are on the field. Most of the stuff are asked by media and the answers often distorted to create sensational sound bites. Don't need to take to seriously and get upset over made up stuff.

Humble pie needs to be served. Cant this kind of credit and praises be kept till end of season.

As of now, the defences are still a joke! Hendo one game of brilliant doesnt mean a change of fortune, one need to tell him to keep it up and not be carried away.

The false no. 9 could be a stop gap but it is not permanent measure. Many still prefer the 2 strikers upfront instead of 1, which is a more sensible choice against most BPL clubs.
