So I'm wondering is there any solution where I can play radio from my swans speakers without plugging in through computer or any Itouch or iphone or mobile phones? Like low consuming products? I recommend taking a look at swan hivi speakers and akimate.

2.1 speakers suits best for movies. So yup I recommend m50w for movies.but of coz if you have the money, buy a good 2.0 and add a real active subwoofer will perform way better.

I dont know much about subwoofer but I heard Dayton 1200 and hivi h6/h10 subwoofer are nice choices.

i thought most ppl go for 5.1 speakers if u are use for movies , i own m50w but i feel it is use for music . Movie whiles u can have better chioce

Id say the d1080 and m200mkii are more for music. M50w is bassy set so its good for movies. Imho 5.1 setup is just a gimmick unless u pay $2000 for it. Paying $500 for a 5.1 setup will mean each speaker has $100 audio quality compared to $250 in stereo setup.

The biggest problem about 5.1 is placement. In order to benefit surroud sound, the listener must be in the centre between the front and rear speakers.

5.1 will be too troublesome to put around my room, hence 2.1 would be better but unsure of which 2.1 is better for movies so asking around
