A few things to consider.

Universal Supra
1. Get it faster (generic built)
2. Can share with others
3. Tip Rolling can be tricky to get the right sound (see review at Headfi here)

Custom Supra
1. Takes more time (do/send/built custom shell takes time)
2. Likely sound better (custom fit almost always do, isolates better)
3. Only used by own-self

Apart from the one reviewer on headfi, almost nobody has heard it, although the build quality does look good and the chance to get a pair of customs at this price is pretty good.

From what I gather, don't expect it to outperform the top of the line. Sound signature wise it's neutral.

Generally, I gather it's a pretty good price for an iem from a company on the upswing, which is why people are jumping on it.

Still can join but it will be slightly more expensive. Try contact them at their webpage, their speed in response is simply amazing:)

Possible to share the price here? Tempted to get a "baby UERM" :s13:

it the same price as the latest available pledge amount before kickstarter end for the universal set.

as for full custom, you need to top up around 35 usd and depend on the exchange rate, you may also need to pay gst for it too

Quoted USD XXX but all freebies from the kickstarter project will be included. Need to transfer monies by paypal though.

Edit: forget to mention this price is for universal edition

Yes for the price it includes the bonus estron linum cable as well.

Its USD XXX so I guess its about SGD400+ which will attract GST as well when it ship here so might want to take note if you are on strict budget.

For those approaching Earwerkz, please indicate all the items expected in your queries, so they may be made clear during the email correspondence.

Am not sure how many more can Earwerkz support outside of the final list of backers for the Supra. If the support is there, there may be additional cost involved to have more material orders to build the extra orders.

Just my 2 cents on managing expectations.

That said, congratulations to everyone who have supported the Supra Project. :D

just speak to jack yesterday through kickstarter contact button. may be you can try that too.

Can only contact thru this mode if lee-turbo is in the original kickstarter program, if he join after the program close he can't.

Email sent, waiting for reply,
btw do you have jack email also?

I think no matter by which way you contact earwerkz, it will be jack who will respond to your query.. my experience is that he will usually respond within a day. :)

It'll be through support@earwerkz.com for me.

They've been incredibly active what with supporting the artists such as Crystal Nicole and Ron James, approaching them, a revamp of their website and the launch of the Legend R with Silver Dragon. Not to mention getting the Hundreds of Supra backers to fulfill. (whew .. running out of breathe just listing them) :s22:

Perhaps we can give Jack a little more time to come back to you. :)
