I got my Cat 6 from 1 shop in SLS.

Later I found that you can get Cat 6 loose length from a shop in SL Tower basement. They also sell Cat 6 Keystone, punch down tool, faceplate and patch panels. PM me if you need the shop names.

The giga speed thing is a gimmick and flat cables aren't recommended because the wires aren't twistd around each other to cancel crosstalk. Maybe someone can clarify on this.

I bought 1 x big roll of Cat5E to lay my flat with LAN ports during renovation. I have excess, anyone needs any length can PM me with requirement and length. Got tools to crimp and custom accordingly.

I couldn't careless whether it's Cat 5E or Cat 6 since they both should be able to go to 1 Gbps, but it's kinda hard to identify a cable with genuine quality.

cable quality is one thing. the crimping of cable is also another thing.

usually if they crimp wrongly, the speed will drop. If the cat5e is not tested to support 1gbps, then its kinda like a "Water goods".

i suggest you go by brands. Belden/3M are 2 reputable brands you can try..
