It helps to clarify that the T&C says the voucher is transferable. In case some goondoo call Amex to complain why people are selling the vouchers

yes its transferable, and the best is that you can combine up to 5 vouchers in 1 transaction.

for those who have not received the capitaland vouchers, PLEASE MAKE A CALL TO AMEX N TELL THEM.

CSO told me that it shd be received by the 6th week of card approval, since it is not, they immediately put a $20 credit into my card instead. i think they are aware sth might hv gone wrong, but this is a good compensation.

if you don't call, you can continue waiting. I got the credit already, the vouchers will never be here i suppose.

I just got the card yesterday, was intending to use it to pay for my wedding deposit, unfortunately my credit limit is only 2k. Called in to raise the credit limit and cso said i can pre-pay bills to up my credit. E.g. pay 3k first, then use it to pay for my
5k bill.

its like, your cc limit is 2k.

before you even use it, you "pay" your bill first. example 3k, which means you have the initial 2k limit as well as the 3k which you have pre-paid. so you kind of have 5k in a way. whether or not amex will prevent a payment of >2k to go through or not, i can't confirm but it should work.

a friend of mine who had a student 500 limit cc asked this, helped me ask this question at the bank (stand chart) and the person say you can do it this way. not sure if he tested it or not though.

anyway isn't it weird that the cc limit is 2k?
