Just got my bonus...
Abit tempted to upgrade my tablet... Am using a DocoMo Tablet Z 32GB LTE now...

Any former 10" owners here care top comment how you feel about the 'downgrade' in screen size?

Too bad this time nobody selling DocoMo set, cos their LTE sets normally is 32gb as opposed to international LTE sets at only 16gb.

My main use for my current tablet is for watching shows, play as walkman, read ebooks and illustration.

If I get enough feedbacks to feel confident enough, I'd buy tonight after work =/

i had a 10.2 sammy before and I would say portability is awesome. I can use with one hand even with casing. i have it showered weekly as well so less bacteria. display size downgrade didnt matter to me as tablet are used in close proximity anyways

Oh. i have been a SONY user all the way, so I am not really a stranger to bringing my devices to swimming and shower etc.

Just abit worried whether will reading be as uncomfy as you do on a regular smartphone, etc

I guess stuff like a 'c' cup boob in video becoming like 'b' cup is unavoidable.

For now on my Xperia Tablet Z, reading an American comic via comixology is a cinch, since the screen can cater to 1 full page and I don't have to zoom in to read the speech balloons.

Bought an LTE set

I notice got phone function -_-
Is there a way to disable phone function?

Doesn't make sense to have a fake phone when I already have my Xperia Z1

Why not? But you have to use either bluetooth headset or wired headphone or speaker phone, dont expect to be able to hold up the tablet beside your ear like a decent handphone, lol.

Thanks.
Thought they only sell Wi-Fi model, not LTE model.
calling will be a concern as not used to using bt headset...perhaps z3 will be better choice but smaller screen though.

Actually Local Telco only sell LTE version. I know what you meant, while I was waiting for my sim card adapter to arrive, I have to use the tablet to make phone calls and having to turn on my bt headset everytime there is an incoming call is so damn troublesome and I hate sticking the headset to my ear all the time.

No need la. These are Lithium and Lithium-ion batteries and not the old type Nickel battery, no need to charge 6 or 8 hours.

You can turn to fight mode, if you don't use data sim.
