I have accumulated about 63k travel$ in my account.

What can I do with these now? Convert to cash or transfer to my krisflyer account?

Any suggestion?

your money your decision.

Since the 1.4 from ANZ is rounded and possibly in blocks of $50, it will be less than the 1.12% calculated?

Suddenly the amex tcb i almost cancelled looks pretty attractive

- Citibank PremierMiles is effective 1.2% for local spend and 2% for foreign currency spend if you convert Citi Miles to cash. Needs to be in blocks of 2000 Citi Miles.

- CIMB Visa Infinite is 1% local, 2% foreign and travel related items

thks for the advices. both of them are at 2.5% forex exchange admin fee rite?

will check the two out.

Cool! Citi Premiermiles may be utility card from then onwards if and when ANZ Travel card reduces its cash rebate rate.

in that case, if annual tax is 25k, rebate will be $25, two years then can rebate once. provided no further change of rule in two years and provided no need annual fee. if not is no gain or lose money liao.

i rem last time anz travel signature for tax payment is net 1.1% rebate..how come now is 0.8% rebate with 0.7% processing fee..become so low lioa?

like that not even worth the trouble to fill e forms and everything

i followed the rates given above. not sure if it is 0.8. i already the tax payment done already, but got to see the updates to see if i will keep the card only for tax, or to totally cancel it.

"Pamper yourself with a wide range of travel, shopping and dining delights when you use your ANZ Credit Card to pay for your income tax. Earn 1 Travel$ for every S$1 in tax payment with ANZ Travel Visa Signature Credit Card or 1 Rewards Point for every S$5 in tax payment with all other ANZ Credit Cards.

Enjoy the convenience of a one-time payment or monthly recurring payment facility at a processing fee of 0.7% on your tax amount, or 0.5% if you are an ANZ Signature Priority Banking Cardmember."

Since its $1 for 1 travel $

$50 cash credit = 6250 points = 0.8% for tax facility

did i make a mistake?

if the new conversion rate is as such (not published yet?), then your calculation is correct.

Then minus 0.7% process fee the net rebate becomes 0.1% for tax payment? Wt....

Look at the recent ANZ travel fair promotion, ANZ is giving 1000 Travel$ / 10 optimum$ for xxx spend. Seem like the redemption rate is really going to be changed soon.
