What S-Spec, country of manufacture for i7 4790k?

Not sure if this still applies today? It used to be that Malay chips were better than Costa Rica chips, and now there are Vietnam chips as well? Is there a preferred country of manufacture for the 4790k?

U cant choose anyway.... Unless u wanna RMA till u kena the country that you want. All 3 countries have a good chance of having either a lousy silicon or good silicon.

You cant choose, and if you are talking about quality of the silicon, is a gamble.

I used to have a good i5-4670k from malay. It can go 4.7ghz at just 1.25V.

After some incident happen, i RMA it and got a costa chip. But it was a poor overclocking chip that can only do 4.6ghz at 1.27v.

For country of manufacture, I can, actually Can't choose a batch though. Although for 4790k it will be either Malay or Vietnam, haven't come across a seller with a Costa Rica chip.

If i know, i rather not waste my talent telling u which is a better silicon and rather put it to generating 6 numbers for toto $3-6mil...
