but our wingers can't make it work with their no-look crossing :s22:

Actually ppl usually cross either far or near post

Valencia actually put a few decent cross in but we did not take those chances well

The Afro heading that goes to ground and lack abit of pace and the overhead kick of looney

Other day they might just went in

but our wingers aim for beyond far post. :s22:
i'll have to say the Villa game was the best/better among his(Valencia) last 5 games..but i won't talk so much about him now, he's playing as a RB/RWB.

Young however..as our attacking player, a winger, registered 10 out of 10 failed crosses in Villa game. pass completion is like a 60-70% on average.

Just as the top of the table is heating up, the bottom of the table is full of unpredictable as well.

This season, it has proven that the EPL is about the best league in Europe for the fact that the bottom table teams are no push-overs.

If the top of the table teams are complacent, they would be overwhelmed by these 'minnows'.

From the stats this season: ( top of the table versus the relegation bound candidates only. Mid table team excluded )

Chelsea loses points for home draw with Burnley and Away draw with Sunderland ( lose 4 points )

Arsenal loses points for home draw with Hull City and away draw to Leicester City ( lose 4 points )

Man United loses points for away draws to West Ham, Aston Villa, Burnley and Sunderland ( lose 8 points )

Man City loses points for Home loss to Aston Villa, how draw to Hull City and Burnley and away losses to Burnley and West Ham and away draw to QPR ( loses 15 points ), and

Liverpool loses points through 3 home draws with Leicester City, Sunderland and Hull City ( loses 6 points )

So, the relegation teams are no push-overs and still unexpected can happen.

Chelsea may have QPR and Leicester City away and Sunderland at home and these teams are dangerous as they are fighting for their survival.

Arsenal which appear to handle the minnows better have still to meet up with Burnley and Hull City away and Sunderland at home.

Man United minnows face-off are: home to West Brom and away to Hull City

Man City that loses the most points to the relegation bound teams have yet to meet the following:

West Ham, Aston Villa and QPR all at home, and

Liverpool has to meet: Hull City and West Bromwich Albion away and QPR at home.

So whoever that does not drop points to the minnows will stand a better chance of booking a place in the UCL or contributing to the title race and similarly for the minnows, whoever that takes points away from the top teams are icings that may help their survival.

You know, I've seen Young getting to the byline countless times, sometimes even beating 2 players to get there, but his final ball NEVER EVER(check his assist stats) found anyone. Look at the last game against villa, beat 2 guy, drives to the byline, found no one again. Of cos mata end up with a shot but again, see where the initial ball ends up. Which makes me wonder is it his awareness or the other players positioning?

anticipation, interception makes up for speed/pace
think Rio/Vidic

He started his run even before the taker kicked the ball. It is like, he knew the taker was going to send the ball that way.

I don't remember I saw Rio/Vidic did this before.
