Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 is it battery intensive?

Battery life seems not as good, any apps to increase battery?

The original G Flex delivered two days' use and the G Flex 2 managed the same. On full charge from 9am, the G Flex 2 generally made it to around 5.30pm the following day, so you can get two working days out of it.

In more intense testing using the Geekbench 3 battery test, the G Flex 2 scored a pretty decent 11-12 hours. It was a similar story when we ran a 720p HD video on loop with the brightness at 50%. That puts it in the same bracket as the iPhone 6 and betters the G3, which does have to contend with the fact that it packs a power-sapping 2K QHD display compared to the G Flex 2's Full HD OLED screen.

If you have a habit of forgetting to charge your phone overnight, the G Flex 2, like the Note 4, uses Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology. This lets you get from 0% to 50% battery in less than 40 minutes. It fully lives up to that claim as well, getting you to full charge in just over an hour. Couple that with the G Flex 2's battery-retention qualities in standby and it's a good all-round performance.

Lol you anyhow read this thread you know what it's made of liao....

1. Self-healing plastic back
2. Gorilla Glass 3 I think on the front but can curve one
3. POLED screen
4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, but it throttles
5. 13MP camera with laser focus
6. 2GB of RAM in Singapore unfortunately :(
7. Full HD 5.5-inch screen.

Who thinks the G Flex2 would've been a much more popular phone if it had 3GB of RAM? 2GB of RAM seems so yesterday now...

Then now the rumour is that the G4 has 3GB of RAM but a Snapdragon 808 processor. Seems like we can't have the best of both worlds huh?

At least it doesn't edge halfway #whyedgehalfway :s13:

huh? we dont get the 3gb version? :(

dont matter in test how much LG G flex 2 can handle what matter is in real life situation how it can handle

I know of a friend who is using an older LG phone now (think is G Pro).

Should let him try the LG G Flex 2 in his back pocket and try to seat.

If no issue, then should be fine for the rest of us.

if you look at my video which i posted previously, the self healing technology is only limited to hairline scratch with little or no pressure.

if you used a key or pen knife and scratch it with a little force, even after 24 hours the scratch is still there and does not go away as claimed.
