also is LG G Flex2 going to have more colours besides Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red? these two are quite boring unlike its competitor Samsung.

Jin satki~ :D

The really enticing feature is the OIS+ though~ :love:The LG Flex 2 gives an ergonomic hold on the phone whicb sits comfortably on on's palm. With its 5.5" 1080p screen, 2GB ram, 16gb rom, nothing can stop in its way.

Not forgetting that it supports 128gb microsd, which should be the next big thing.

But i find it weird that there is a 2GB ram/16gb and 3GB ram/32gb model. Why cant they do both at 3gb ram, save the trouble....

Battery looks big at 3000mah.

the LG G Flex 2 is also powered by the following technologies:

Android Lollipop
POLED
OIS+
Knock code
Qualcomm snapdragon processor

Satki boh my post

snapdragon rocks.....

Actually I'm underweight haha. But I think be it fat or skinny, everyone will sorta meet the same problem >.< With the G Flex 2 there should be less worries hahaha

haha my bad, i was joking about buibui :o

can withstand at least 25kg is an assurance from LG, when break then say lol

does the LG flex 2 have wireless charging? :o

now wireless charging like so cui. fortunately, it will be the next upcoming technology, only recently have they finally realized or what that bringing a pb is not the way to go. glad to have big companies investing and researching, including google.

I saw the self healing on G Flex 1 display set quite many scratches, wonder if this newer G Flex 2 have better
healing

1. Self-healing plastic back
2. Gorilla Glass 3
3. POLED screen
4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810
5. 13MP camera with laser focus
6. 2GB of RAM in Singapore unfortunately
7. Full HD 5.5-inch screen.

simi healing also no use... 90% of the people just buy a case and wrap around it anyway to provide an even superior prevention of scratches :s13:

now i think a bit, LG Flex 2 may not be the flagship since they do not have 2gb ram in sgp. seems more like a try to put new innovation to test smartphone?

Hmm, I think there were some posts that said that the Flex could withstand 450Kg and speculate that the Flex 2 can withstand more than the 25kg stated~ :o

one thing i'm not a huge fan of is the lollipop navigation buttons. the size on the buttons are a little off no? lol. Something that has always bugged me. Anyway lollipop is not without its issues at this point. Hopefully with future updates it will get better. The snapdragon 810 is a pretty powerful chip, and with LPDDR4 too, so it shouldn't be sluggish at all. I'm guessing LG's UI needs a bit more optimisation too. :/

The LG G Flex 2 features a 5.5" inch POLED Dura-Guard Gorilla Glass Full HD 1080p screen, which means a whopping 403ppi. The screen is at a 23 degree arc and the phone comes with Android Lollipop 5.0.1 right out of the box.
Its powered by Snapdragon 310 quad-core processor 2Ghz from Qualcomm which is octa core 64 bit!!
It also comes with LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB 2.0 which is highly used with Android Wear and devices (including the LG mobile printer).
RAM is 2GB or 3GB depending on the device (16GB model vs 32GB model) and weighs at 152g.

Luckily, the device offers external storage for people who require more storage space which isn't offered in some of the flagship products from other competitors.
The self healing coat is exclusive to the LG brand and heals any scratches accidentally made by your keys or tabletop scratches.

13 megapixel rear camera offers clear and sharp photos taken by the camera (it offers 4k ultra HD shooting, and slow motion 120fps video). It has laser-guided auto-focus, dual flash on the back, OIS+, HDR mode, 8x digital zoom and allow resolution ranging from 2,048x1,536- to 4,160x3,120-pixels. 2.1 MP at the front. Gesture Controls allow to take photos with gestures.
Battery is at 3000mAh, which means u can watch your videos on hours before the battery runs out, or you fall asleep. G features their KnockOn and KnockCode which can unlock your phone by tapping on the screen. GlanceView allows you to quickly check your notifications and time. They also have other software apps like Smart Notice and Dual Window.

Comes in 2 colours Platinum Silver or Flamenco Red. Hopefully they will release a black one.

get g flex 2 or s6 edge better?? is the g flex 2 too big?

actually they are rather different. The s6 edge only has curves on the side, whereas the whole 5.5" display is curved, which will probably give a more immersive viewing experience. Both are quite different. I would say go to a carrier outlet and play with both yourself and see which one you like better.

On a side note, I had the G2 and it was one of the best phone that year in my opinion. Especially knock code which was super useful. But the UI was a bit dated, and I used Google Now launcher on it. So I'm actually more interested in the G4 rather than the G Flex2 admittedly. =:p

Lol you anyhow read this thread you know what it's made of liao....

1. Self-healing plastic back
2. Gorilla Glass 3 I think on the front but can curve one
3. POLED screen
4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, but it throttles
5. 13MP camera with laser focus
6. 2GB of RAM in Singapore unfortunately :(
7. Full HD 5.5-inch screen.

Who thinks the G Flex2 would've been a much more popular phone if it had 3GB of RAM? 2GB of RAM seems so yesterday now...

Then now the rumour is that the G4 has 3GB of RAM but a Snapdragon 808 processor. Seems like we can't have the best of both worlds huh?

At least it doesn't edge halfway #whyedgehalfway :s13:

yes, now more phone offering 3gb. its becoming a norm liao haiz

I would love to try the camera though. the G2 had a really solid camera but was a little slow. The G Flex2 is supposed to have an advanced 13MP camera with OIS+, and not to mention laser auto focus, so should be even better. Would be curious to see how it performs against the S6. With a curved display, should have quite a comfortable grip while taking photographs too. :s12:

Yeah. they actually tone down a lot already compared to on the G2, like I think the G3's UI is actually bearable. But for the UI to still stutter even with the latest, greatest, fastest, and supposedly powerful 64-bit octa-core snapdragon 810 from qualcomm, is a bit.. :s22::s13:

And when i try to multitask, can feel the phone was a bit... hesitant? Not sure if it's a Lollipop thing though. Like pressing the recent apps button seem to have a bit of delay on a lot of devices. Definitely not as quick as on Kitkat. :s13:

The LG Flex 2 gives and provides an ergonomic hold on the phone which will sit comfortably on your palm. Together with its large crisp 5.5" screen that has a 1080p resolution and coupled with 2GB or 3GB ram, 16gb or 32GB of internal memory, it has everything that an average user needs daily on a phone.

Including the of up to 128gb microsd for expandable memory (well, funny because 200gb is now out), you can carry all your memories together

Of course we don't forget the twin model with 3GB ram and 32gb internal memory.

It will be running wiht the latest Android OS - Lollipop
POLED in Full HD 1080p screen, resulting in a resolution of 403ppi.
The screen is protected by Dura-Guard Gorilla Glass 3
With the heart powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 quad-core processor running 2Ghz, it also supports native 64bit processing
OIS+ on the 13 MP (megapixel) camera for the back (rear) with 4K high-resolution video recording and 2.1 megapixel at the front, it offers something new that others do not support - using laser to do auto focus

Battery seems to follow the other devices at 3000mAh and honestly, looking at other 810 procesors, i doubt this is enough...

Can formally root this already annot? :s22:

I wonder really how well the battery will hold up at just 3000mah...

haha. i don't think there are many manufacturer that will let you "formally root" the device. The HTC One m9 has a smaller battery and seems okay from reviews?

yea... not many...

Well, there's also the heating issue that many have said about the snapdragon 810.... Wonder how well the G3 will handle!:s12:
