Have you tried when you connect your Phone/Tablet to bluetooth earpiece like SBH-52 and you want to put your phone to silent, you try to press the volume key up or down, it will activate the bluetooth volume and the option to put the phone to silent is not there.

Suggestion: use a toggle widget. Personally, I've been using Widgetsoid for the longest time, so the removal of sound/silent shortcuts from the notification area don't really affect me.

actually there're some changes to the vol control when u press the vol +/-
u can choose to mute from there
can even set to mute for an hour

Z3 tab is lighter n thinner.
its water proof as well.
however, as a media, i prefer Tab S...as color are more saturated.

i did not root my device.
both stock are fine...unless heavy multitask (all apps are open and left running in background)

There is an option in sony settings to saturate colors. I personally prefer natural n not too vivid colors , so I chose for Sony Z3 tablet.
