yeah thanos will be the main villain for avengers 3

but reports are saying there will be other villains as well.

after phase 3 ends, dunno they will reboot the whole MCU again or carry on with new avengers members. Think after Avengers 3 part 2, those original avengers actors will be gone riao.

either marvel also retires those characters or find other actors to replace them. Another way is carry on with movies of other marvel characters and let Spider-Man replace Iron Man as be the face of MCU,

They will reboot part of the current crews. Phrase fourth will introduce threats like kang, skrulls and Krees. Time traveling will become rather common and I hope they will spark off a time war saga.

The new team you see is just the start and the usual secondary heroes. They making room for new primary avenger team in all the phase 3 movies that lead to Thanos.

So you are looking at the new primary team heroes to be:
Ant Man
Dr Strange (Plays a big role in infinity wars according to comics)
Black Panther
Ms Marvel
Spiderman

So if you look at the new team it isn't that bad.

IMO, still under powered, except say Dr. Strange and Captain Marvel.
Hank Pym, only really useful as Giantman, although there are also fans of his ant-man form.

First group of Avengers you have a god, the very first super soldier that everyone adores and a billionaire/playboy/philanthropist/genius, plus let's not forget a giant green monster that is unstoppable.

Frankly, spidey is weak compared to even warmachine. I feel that Warmachine is a much stronger character than him, but too bad, maybe he blackguy, can only play 2nd fiddle to a white character.
Never really liked Spiderman.

Just my thoughts.

RDJ is paid so much because he and his agent had faith in Marvel when he took up iron man initially and agreed to a % of the box office.

cannot compare because RDJ got profit sharing like i said.

tbh he dont deserve it. iron man 1 was a break for RDJ. he wasnt popular before IM1 and had lots of problems. it wasnt RDJ who made marvel universe but marvel who made RDJ.
be honest, how many of you actually watched his movies before iron man 1? the only one i watched was chaplin, after which he disappeared until iron man 1.

Who determines a person's salary for all the things he or she did before the current job?

RDJ made Ironman big. RDJ IS Ironman.

Don't ask a Marvel fan; ask the average cinema goer who contributed to the billion-dollar box office.

True man. We already adore the original MCU Avenger team too much liao la since they started years back.

At least instead of keep remaking favour heroes, they trying out new heroes to see if it works out. If not for their success you will never see such unique heroes in the big screens.

I'll be open minded to see how each of these new hero's solo movies comes out.

I would feel Ms Marvel is a good "replacement" for Thor.
Black panther for Ironman (since they are both rich and smart) but thats a hard role to ever "replacement". I'm a huge Iron man fan.

I don't think anyone will ever be able to replace the current cast, I'm actually more surprised at how successful thor is in this franchise. The character had quite a big role in this franchise that most of us dont really understand.

I prefer to see more powerful heroes, but that will require X-men + avengers universe. But I think there's possibility of F4 joining avengers, because the stories are quite interconnected.

Ya, Thor was the one that expanded the MCU to "space" level with the 9 realms which opened up a world of possibilities where they showed the vault.

Thing about the industry is rights issue. Unless we are fortunate enough to have similar situation where Sony decides to let Spidey join in.

hopefully, this industry players will put the interest of fans first and allow the different marvel comic universes to merge into 1.

DC already doing so, I hope they can see the larger picture.

It's all about money :(

Why can't they just collude to give fans an epic show, something fans want....and just split the revenue evenly?

given avengers series successful, and spideman not-so, i'm pretty sure it is not sony who refuse to collaborate

split evenly? that is something sony would not even hesitated to say yes. could be avengers series are making things difficult for sony.

They are the one with bargaining power, not sony.
