most bike brands only have 1 (if lucky 2 ) cyclocross bikes. theres nothing to recommend if you want a certain brand.Noted thks![]()

Just did a 128km round island ride on my Tern with fellow Terners on labour day night... Anti-clockwise direction so should be easier...

Total distance: 128.2km
Total time taken: 9 hours
Time stopped: At least 2.5 hours due to punctures, injury, rest point
Average speed: 20-21 kmh
I guess some may have spotted us.
I was really struggling in the final 15km. With light drizzle raining down on us at Telok Blangah at 4am, and knowing fully well that the ending point was just <15km away, the phrase 'so near yet so far" is really true. I am glad there was little traffic, for I was using the inner chainring with the largest cog pounding up every slope with my eyes looking at the floor. As I recollect now, I have no idea how I managed to summon such strength to continue on that time. I felt my legs don't belong to me anymore...
Now both legs very sore, numb, tight and hot. I didn't expect to complete it since the last time I cycle more than 50km was >4 months ago..![]()
