I heard the speed can be really fast! But one thing that puts me off is the customer service. Its totally sucks

did anyone get the EDM for HomeVoice number porting back in September 2014?
I've been waiting to port my number over so I can drop my StarHub Digital Voice... It's disappointing they did not update customers who have supported them from the start (almost)

I'm planning to cancel my MyRepublic trial and when i call in to the customer service, I was told to put up a cancellation request online. So that was what I did and for 2 days, nobody has responded. My 2 months free trial just ended yesterday so which means to say I will be charged starting from today.

The CSO also told me I cannot return the box to AMK branch but only to Ubi HQ? Who was the one who posted here saying that we could head to AMK branch to return and cancel the trial and get the $50 back?!

I don't mean to laugh at you for believing the words about returning equipment, from someone here. Most of the people here don't work for MR.

You should always reach MR and get a certain answer from MR as opposed to reading here. All opinions on this forum are just that. Opinions. It does not reflect the responses that MR gives in any way.

I returned the 1 Gbps trial modem to AMK Hub on 10th June. Today chat with MR CS and they has no such record, asked me to send them the form! I shall stay far far away from MR.

So, u started your 2 yrs contract with them ah? You shld not have cancelled at the last day, too many things can happen and go wrong...

Do you guy have the following problem using utorrent:
1) The network status light don't maintain at the same color, flickering between green and yellow every few minutes.

2) No problem with download, but the Upload speed is really bad.
Some time it move only 1-5 kB/s or totally don't move at all. Is it something wrong with my utorrent setting or MyRepublic is "shaping" my torrent speed traffic?

Which utorrent version are you using?

My network status light is always green - OK and my upload speed can go up to few MB/s.

Hi all. We just signed on for the 1 gbps trial. What I don't understand is why my son's laptop, which is a MSI leopard series laptop cannot get anywhere near 100mbps. We did all the tests that were suggested for speed, even plugging the lan cable directly into the ont, but still cannot achieve a decent speed. What can possibly be the matter? Same with wifi, eventhough his laptop have ac standard. We are currently using a Asus 87U router. What is wrong? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Do check for your drivers for network adapter, are they installed properly?
