Despite Najib's shortcomings, he's a friendlier leader to deal with and is considered a moderate...relations with Sg are warm under him...

if he gets booted, his deputy, Muhyiddin is pro-Malay and a supporter of Dr. M...he mentioned before he's "Malay" first rather than "Malaysian first"...not sure if cooperation with Sg will be close under him...

nowadays malaysia is getting more and more strict with Islamic laws, could be more so under a pro-malay leader in future...next time steal things in malaysia chop hand, find chicken chop kkj...don't play play...:D

more malaysian chinese might be tempted to come to sg to find work given his pro-malay stance...ji gou li yi xia...:(

Gst introduced because not enough gov budget due to money sucking? Singapore PAP gov also introduced and raised gst...

But Singapore is clean right? Our ministers all already multi millionaire in salaries. Although Temasek and Gic is helmed by PM himself and his wife, it's not like 1mdb right?

Sent from animal farm using GAGT

who knows? haha

fact is no one

everyone is clean until exposed

Since when and which PM of Malaysia isn't pro malay.

The only difference in Najib is he has a bigger appetite to eat more money.
The next one who goes up will still be negotiable with money.

Reading the letter to Dow Jones and the press statement by lawyers acting for the PM, it struck me that it is the first time ever I am seeing lawyers telling their potential opponent what they have done so far; are currently doing; will be doing and will have to do in order to decide what to do next in the matter.

The lawyers are also asking to ask their potential opponent the meaning of what they had published before deciding what to do next.

Never mind the English (which makes me cringe at almost every sentence they wrote), if I were acting for Dow Jones I would advise them to reply as follows:

"Dear lawyers, inability to grasp and/or understand what we had published is not a known or established ground for defamation suits.

Thank you."

PS I am actually quite surprised that the lawyers did not ask Dow Jones to produce four trustworthy witnesses to back up their allegations and quoted some hadiths and Quranic verses, or just quote Haji Hadi Awang as authority.

WSJ is under News Corp, owner of Foxnews, New York Post and London Times. You know how powerful is News Corp and FoxNews? They can start wars and bankrupt smaller countries.

Even KGB Putin cannot handle Foxnews.

They so strong until one wiretapping scandal can cause massive fallouts such as closure of a 168 year old newspaper, the owner Rupert Murdoch himself apologizing on the newspaper cover, and many senior employees either resigned or kanna arrested?

Furthermore, Rupert Murdoch is under investigation by FBI for bribery and corruption in UK and USA. They are big but they are not untouchable

Is look like in Parag 3 it ask WSJ diam diam. Najib ball are big enough.

Nope, they are setting a trap for WSJ to admit they were implicating that Najib misappropriated the 700mil USD whereby WSJ was smart enough to say they stood by what they wrote in the article which never mentioned of Najib misappropriating the money but rather saying the money trail ended up in his private account.

Also Najib till now has neither admit nor denied that the money went into his account, he only said he never used the money for his personal gain.

Meanwhile former pm of malaysia Mahathir has gone full assault calling for his resignation or leave and have the DPM take over the stewardship while investigation are going on..

This is like a modern day Marcos saga in Malaysia minus the peoples' power... pretty sure some big guns in hollywood would be willing to adapt it to a big screen if Najib is really convicted although judging by boleh land style..the opposite outcome is most likely..

The story will finally unfold if Mahathir is able to get to the truth and 'dethrone' Najib since he looks most likely to be the only one with the biggest ballz among the UMNO/BN inner circle..:D

The murderer in the case was eventually arrested and named the man who had hired him for RM20,000 to carry out the shooting. However, Najadi says there is no evidence the Malaysian Police made any effort to arrest the man, who was traced in Australia and who is believed to be connected with people high up in government.
