And still some wanted us to keep and play him until his contract are up?! :vijayadmin: If a player wanted to leave, he will do what he can to get that transfer.

Club should phone him and tell him, get your ******* agent to have City or whoever to bring in 50m and you can rightly **** off. If not, you'll need to wash the U16's boots and underwear. Call in sick? 2 weeks wages fine for every time you pull that shiat.

Yah man we shouldn't be dealing with a bad apple, it affects morale.

At this point I'd take 35 mil just to get rid of him, so pissed

And it looks like BR is the main reason for Sterling's situation

http://m.skysports.com/article/football//9906665

Funny that cause Rodgers the one who gave him a holiday while the season is going on when he complain about being tired. Rodgers also the one who protect him from all the shiat that Woy make about him and the press about the shisa thing.

All these are just his agent pulling the strings. Heck even if we got Klopp in it will be, "Rodgers is like a father figure to me so to see him getting the sacked by the club, I don't think I can play for the club any more."

His reason (or excuse) "His fear is that his presence on the tour would take the focus off the manager and the new players, believing that it would be better if he stayed at Melwood and continues to train."

Bit odd considering how BR protected him indeed. Maybe the boy just lost faith in BR's methods
I am definitely betting that the agent has had his hands in all this, fella is a real ****
He is Berahino's agent too and its no coincidence that Berahino was in a similar situation last season. If he wasnt injured now, he'd be in the headlines to try force a move as well

Transfer request or not, he still won't move if we can't get 50m from City or whoever. :s22:

Raheem Sterling bombarded with racist WhatsApp and Twitter abuse from Liverpool fans as transfer row turns ugly

Raheem Sterling has been subjected to vile abuse and harassment as so-called fans angry at his request not to go on tour with Liverpool crossed the line.

Sterling has made it clear that he no longer wishes to play for Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers.

As the controversy turned ugly, the 20-year-old England international had his phone number published on the Internet last night.

He was bombarded with abusive calls and woke up to hundreds of insulting WhatsApp and text messages.

The act has been slammed by other Reds fans who have condemned it as going a step too far while Sterling is understood to have taken screenshots as he considers his next move.

Sterling is seeking a move to Manchester City and wants to remain in England to sort out his future instead of flying to the Far East and Australia.

Liverpool have already rejected two bids last month, the second totalling £40million and are holding out for £50million.

City have yet to make a third bid but are expected to return with Sterling one of their top targets.

Brendan Rodgers’ squad leave on Sunday for their pre-season tour with their first game in Bangkok next Tuesday.

Sterling missed Liverpool training with illness on Wednesday.

Race attack

Sterling has also been targeted by racists on social media after his stand-off with Liverpool.

After Mirror Football reported Sterling would refuse to go on Liverpool’s pre-season tour, the abuse overspilled on Twitter.

One Twitter user @BurlingtonBert_ wrote: “Raheem Sterling is very replaceable. There are plenty of black kids in London with chips on their shoulders.”

It is typical of some of the abuse which has been posted as a result of the ugly stand-off.

The racist element is bound to upset 20-year-old who has rarely posted on his Twitter and Instagram accounts throughout his stand-off with Liverpool.

Another fan claimed to have his phone number and posted it online and urged fans to "give this #LFC scumbag #Raheem #Sterling a phone call with as much abuse as possible!!”

Twitter has promised to act upon abuse and shut down the abusers.

The way things are going, it would be smarter to take the 40m and not look for a few more and bring the squad into chaos..

Why of all numbers need to take 28?

Hate huge numbers... hope he be good

Will BG BR finally go with 2 strikers?

actually liked his explanation

said he has to earn the right to wear an iconic single digit and at the same time the number 28 deflects unnecessary pressure.

Milner response on taking number 7 was great too, said any number at Liverpool is tough to live up to so it makes no difference :s13:

I don't think Man City is stupid enough to pay 50 mil now. The ball is clearly in our court now. We have a player who doesn't want to be here and wants out, whatever it takes. Liverpool will be force to accept whatever bid Man City offer and end this saga.

They will probably up it to 42 mil and done the deal. Good riddance I say.
